If San Francisco wants to make illegals residents, then San Francisco should pay to support them, and not me. The same goes for New Haven.

Setting it up for the next election...Add that to all the early voting “cr**”, and you can beat the very purpose of the electoral college...which is exactly what Obama did.

San Francisco officials and recipients of the cards hailed the new program as a way to connect undocumented immigrants with banks, businesses and city services, such as obtaining health care and checking out library books.

Obviously they are all also qualified to run for president.

I think this is a great idea.

Anyone who has one of these card is an illegal alien, since anyone legally here can get a real id car.

We now have their name and address.

When the time comes, it’ll make them easier to deport.

Get used to standing in lines, for food, clothing and any other commodity you can think of. Zero is going to change a nation.

Is it any wonder that CA is going broke?

The State picks up the tab for other things for SF and other cities, ie Berkley, so that they can do things like this and gay marriage and anti-war etc.

If the state didn't pick up the tab for the other things, SF wouldn't have the money to squander on worthless things like this.

NO BAILOUT FOR CALIF!!

They argue cities have no business declaring people residents if they are not in the country legally.

But San Francisco officials and recipients of the cards hailed the new program as a way to connect undocumented immigrants with banks, businesses and city services, such as obtaining health care and checking out library books.

Kind of like Hussein the Magnificent investigating himself and then declaring his findings that he is clear of Pay-to-Play?

Communists. The same breed throughout the world. Follow the money.

I guess city rights trump state law and federal law ... I also guess 'The War Between the States' never happened.

Can I then make up rights that trump city rights? It's all the rage ya' know.

“such as obtaining health care and checking out library books.”

I’m sure SF has plenty of foreign language books in their libraries....

I am said to say that one of my early ancestors helped found New Haven. I can hope he would have not looked kindly on this.

"They argue cities have no business declaring people residents if they are not in the country legally."

You have to realize that these are the same Liberal nitwits that use the sorry excuse that protecting the borders is a Federal responsibility for not enforcing immigration laws locally. Every border state should have their Guard units at the border. Even if it means exempting them from duty in Iraq or Afghanistan. Senor, we notice that you do not speak English. Your papers please...

Might be worth something in San Francissyco but they won’t be worth squat anywhere else in CA!

No sane nation makes these people legal and comfortable during a steep economic downturn. FDR would never have done this because he cared about average Americans and workers

The hacks we have today in DC hate the American people. All they care about is living the good life in our imperial city where there is no recession
