Regardless or Irregardless? If you think about it, the word irregardless is a double negative. It does not exist in standard English. Use regardless instead. That is what is meant.

It is a bastardization of IRRESPECTIVE and REGARDLESS. Both those words mean the same thing for the most part. You are right, putting those two together would mean something like "regardful", or respective..

I agree with every fiber of my being, but you just know that Barfsack is going to increase its worthlessness abd criminality ten-fold by pandering to it at every juncture, thereby weakening our status as a sovereign nation and insuring that we will never again be a bulwark for democracy and freedom.
