“In particular, they question Holders role in President Clintons 2001 pardon of fugitive financier Marc Rich as well as Holders involvement in Clintons 1999 decision to grant clemency to 16 violent Puerto Rican nationalists.”

"Republicans have arranged for Joseph F. Connor, whose father was killed in the Jan. 24, 1975, bombing of Fraunces Tavern in New York City, to testify before the Senate Judiciary Committee as it considers Holders nomination."
Good idea.

(No, pundits strongly believe that the proper solution is more dilution.)

I am actually surprised by the almost complete lack of interest here on FR about holder. He is a anti-gun Clinton dirt bag from way back.

I don’t see this working, to be honest.
The GOP needs to go after the Sec of Treasury nominee.

I’m interested to see where this nomination goes but what I’m waiting for is O’s appointment of a new F.B.I director. You have to know that there’s no way he’s keeping Muller. Is this where Gorelick will wind up?

Former GOP Sen. John Warner (Va.) . . . scheduled to appear before the panel in favor of Holders nomination. He has left office, but our former RINO senator from hell refuses to stop screwing us.

Call your Senators—even your Dem Sen ators(phone numbers are on senate.gov) and tell them no way on Holder, Browner, Geithner,Solis and Clinton.
Let’s prep the political battlefield.

Good.
As I said, if they can’t stop Holder, they should stop pretending they are an effective political party. Holder is probably the worst of Obama’s choices.

The Republicans need to stand solidly against EVERYTHING that Uhbama and the Democrats do. They should stand on principle. They should not be afraid to use words like “liar”, or “evil”, or “unconstitutional”, or “socialist”. They should fight tooth and nail against Obammunism....They should...but I don’t have high hopes... (since when have the Republicans stood on principle? Much less conservative principles?)
