Globalists 'salivating' over collapse of U.S.

Globalists are "salivating" over the possibility of a Constitutional Convention at which issues such as the 2nd Amendment could handily be dismissed, according to a leader who warns Virginia likely is the next target for the drive.

"There is no question in my mind that, should a new Constitutional Convention be called, it would be the end of the United States of America as we know it, and our current Constitution and Bill of Rights would be forever altered beyond recognition," Constitution Party presidential candidate Chuck Baldwin wrote in his latest commentary.

"The globalists who currently control Washington, D.C., and Wall Street are, no doubt, salivating over the opportunity to officially dismantle America's independence and national sovereignty, and establish a globalist North American Union – in much the same way that globalists created the European Union. A new Constitutional Convention is exactly the tool they need to cement their sinister scheme into law."

Melody Barnes, a senior domestic policy adviser to the Obama campaign, has told Fox News, Obama's "view is that our society isn't static and the law isn't static as well. That the Constitution is a living and breathing document and that the law and the justices who interpret it have to understand that."

Socialist translation: we will ignore the Constitution or render it irrelevant since it doesn't fit our agenda to replace Democracy with socialism.

If the Constitution does not live in the hearts of the People, then it is already dead.

Exactly! And they're greatly aided by most people not knowing and understanding the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. Just do this simple test with people to see how bad it is:
"True or False: The First Amemdment grants us the right to free speech."
The shock and disbelief they exhibit when you bellow, "False!" will tell you all you need to know why it's not a living, breathing document as the libs tell us it is, but a folded, spindled and mutliated victim of a document and ideals.

Scare tactics. The US will annex Canada and Mexico eventually, that's inevitable. I don't see an EU style union, but a pure conquest by the US

The Constitution was not intended to “stop them”
The Constiution is NOT a living thing. It did not sping to life and become our system of government and society. Men and women wrote it on pieces of papaer and then went out into the field snd onto the cities and fought and died to make it happen.
The only thing that can stop them is the people.
“It may be laid down as a primary position, and the basis of our system, that every Citizen who enjoys the protection of a Free Government, owes not only a proportion of his property, but even of his personal services to the defense of it.”
George Washington

They will ignore the Constitution to get what they want even if it destroys this country because the people have decided to let them.

They don't really need a new constitutional convention. Just an executive order.

Elections have consequences, and someday school children will be quizzed on the fall of the US and the 2008 election.

MSM and some schools and universities are the first responsible for the loss of the values founding USA and western free societies(i could add some religious leaders among the responsibles).

In practice it should not be time for whining but for SENSIBLE “conservatives” to get out of their homes, gather and stand up to lead the “fight”(intellectual, legal and even physical...)against the socialist-islamist threat of slavery

This is such an idiotic position.

Let's assume a Convention is called, is utterly dominated by globalists, and produces a new Constitution that shreds the old one.

It must still be ratified by both houses in each of 38 state legislatures to come into effect. IOW, of 99 houses, the entire new Constitution could be derailed by 13 voting against. There are some pretty conservative states out there, and I don't think any drastic change is possible for this reason.

Not an issue.

Did you happen to notice who won the Presidential election? That didn't happen without support from millions of like minded people.

I don’t believe for one second it would change anything.

Our treasury is being plundered as we speak, President Bush has signed the “New U.S. Arctic Policy” and NAFTA and CAFTA have been signed and all this was done in broad daylight.

Now just what would a constitutional convention do except add the authority after the fact.

We sit here pissin and moaning about what they may do when in fact, they HAVE done it.

At this point, I think our military should march into Washington and throw the scoundrels out. After all, they have pledged to preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign AND domestic. If the coming President and Congress aren’t domestic enemies, I don’t know who would be.
