Does not surprise me at all. All the Washington elite really just wink and nod to each other. No telling what goes on behind closed doors where the wheeling and dealing goes on. Same with the MSM they all meet up and hook up-———socially and politically. Lots of back scratchin going on.

Speculation swirled all over the EIB: Obama asked for ideas to save the economy, Rush had some good ones on Monday, and Tuesday he’s mysteriously in Washington… coincidence?

This is what’s necessary and I would be willing to personally present this plan to President-elect Obama because it has worked. I’m just offering, a personal trip, nobody even has to know about this.”
David Gergen was suitcased by Obamao, he was at the meeting, but Obamao stopped quickly and Gergen received a concussion.

Chill out, folks, this trio is what passes for Conservatism among the DC scribing elites. That is the best we, and frankly, Obama, can do in that cesspool if he wants to reach out to the other side. Give Bambi a break, he’s in an swamp drained of ideas, and the trio might have a useful thing or two to say. Who else?

For the record. I really like Rush. Its just that his Operation Chaos backfired (or, did it?)If he's meeting with Obama, I think it proves my point.
George Will is good. Bill Kristol is a Bushie big-government conservative, and David Brooks left the reservation long ago.
DC is just a private club for the moneyed, political elite. They wink and nod to each other while the voters on both sides of the aisle are played like fiddles.
Utterly corrupt the lot of them and so are the pressholes that pander to them.
