Never heard of these perfect spinning circles of river ice formations before. See article for more info.

The ice gods must be telling us something. I think the people in
Waskish Minnesota here it loud and clear. They just got down to - 40 F temperature this morning. This is just the first blast from this January Arctic front. Second one in a day or two is supposed to be worse.

This glow-bull warming does some kewl stuff! I want to see a global warming Ice Tornado.
Ah.
Maybe not.
Come to think of it.
No building would be safe from an Ice Tornado.

Don’t you just hate it when G-d forgets to use a coaster and leaves rings everywhere...

Dont you just hate it when G-d forgets to use a coaster and leaves rings everywhere... This coaster is slowly rotating. Hmmmmm. Perfect circle of ice that is slowly rotating in a place where it has never before been seen. Perhaps the Art Bell Space Aliens are trying to tell us something. I bet the old Celtic ancestors a thousand years ago would have went nuts if they saw something like this.

Wow. Missed that Freerepublic post from just before Christmas last year.

I observed snow tornadoes right here at my farm recently. (Ease up weather geeks, I know they weren’t really tornadoes, just looked similar.) Swirling winds, lots of loose snow, no global warming, and really neat snow tornadoes. They were up to 10 feet high. If it wasn’t so damn cold, I’d have watched them longer! Looked like dust devils, but made of snow! High temp here today....zero! Low tonight....-12! Where is Algore?

Okay. So we have reports of tiny snow Tornado's. Called Snownado. Probably similar to the fire tornado we see out here in the Southern California wildfires. Or the dust tornado you see in the desert. I guess light snow would not be a problem, but I was originally thinking of a freezing rain tornado. Obviously one of those would have to come down from the clouds.
