And it is already going on. How many times have you heard the MSM slam conservatives? How many times have you heard a coworker, family member, or friend talk about those who hold conservative beliefs in a way that is at best dehumanizing?

As for those who think the military will “save” us, I suggest you reconsider. The same psych tactics will be applied to the troops that burn the houses and shoot resisters. It will be framed as something like quarantine, of a deadly virus, terrorists, or saving the polar bears, but when the time comes a lot of people will just follow orders.

Do that, and you will be inside the next club Gutmo very quickly.

All the things that Bush and his ilk pushed through to “save” us, will now be used against us. Do you really think that a network you are describing, much less this site, is secure?

This is why each of us should join the NRA and GOA, and write our representatives every time there is an attempt to take our gun rights away.

It's gonna get ugly. But if not us, then who?

We must not fail.

The big-O is closing gitmo. It’ll have to be a secret liberal torture joint inside the country.

The initial effort will necessarily, and in many cases, unfortunately, be against those poor, unfortunate souls wearing badges and executing the supposed authority of the States's will.

Subsequent efforts, if they are to be successful, will be against those who ordered the actions, or enacted the "laws" that began it all.

We are in for an extended effort, as the opposition has had generations to condition their followers...

That’s true, just as many police will buy into the demonizing of “certain” citizens even if they hold similar views, as I’ve seen myself. Otherwise good, solid people buying into a lie.

My wife and I often laugh at ourselves, tongue in cheek of course, “We have Bibles and guns in the house, do you realize how we will be branded?!?” I’m sure we already are although we live in Texas so not so “different” — yet.

Just keep at it. I’ve seen a big change in the replies I’ve been getting in the past five weeks or so. Before Christmas almost all he replies I got were negative with no attempt to persuade me I was wrong.

That has changed. But it will take time. It took the demrats 50 years to get an unqualified Marxist elected.

Well, we’ll see what sort of back bone the GOP has. All I can say is hope (lol) for the best; prepare for the worse.

Anyhow, they tend to do better as a minority anyway.

Yes, we should treat this law as outright confiscation, because it is the first step in that direction based on global historical precedent.

There is only one other thing I'd be concerned about, that this is a lightning rod, or a distraction to hide another gun control play.

Or even more devious/ probably paranoid, is these sorts of bills get brought up constantly through out the year to get us fatigued of fighting...... then the real payload gets dropped so to speak.

Hope this is semi coherent, cause I'm really tired.
