Today the President held his last formal news conference at the White House in Washington DC.
Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice released the President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief 2009 Annual Report to Congress.
Pray for President Bush - Day 3036.
Enjoy Sanity Island
I have two sick babies so it was hit and miss for me watching today—did President Bush mention Tony Snow at all during the last presser?? I sure do miss him! :*(
He didn’t mention Tony Snow; however, I know through a friend of mine (who is in a position to know) that he is VERY ‘involved’ with Tony’s family and will continue to be so. [There is a reason that those who really know our President genuinely love him!]
Aw, that’s nice to know! :*)
Yea! Eleanor/Snugs, Your posting Your day(s) of The Dose again!
Welcome back!
:)
Oh soooo many facial expressions!!!!!!!!
Oh sooooooo few days left to enjoy His 2 terms of endearment!!!!!!!!
Helen’s facial expression never changes...
One of the silver linings on this “list of lasts”...at least Pres. B, won’t be forced to look at her/be in the same room with her anymore.
Thanks for the update about when Your Dad is due back home...Sounds like the procees has reached the home stretch!
:)
~~HEADS UP! Pres. and Laura Bush on with Larry King NOW!!
Hello.
Larry King looks like Mr. Burns!
Thanks! Watching now!
Don’t they seem so at peace ... ? They look wonderful, God bless them forever! So dearly to be missed ... so so heartbreaking to know they’re leaving us.
They look GREAT - BOTH DID A FANTASTIC JOB. So calm - this is the truth - and I know I did my best...kind of demeanor. WHICH IS CORRECT! They did a great job for our Country.
It’s hard to say goodbye to the President.
And the Vice President.
And their two wonderful wives.
I thank them for all they have done.
And you too, snugs.
p.s. Rummy too!
BUMMER . . . I missed it; however, I did catch part 2 of Hannity’s interview — it was AWESOME!
I hope the VP has many many many more years of fly fishing left! He deserves really fun and relaxing years!
Larry King repeats later .. check your schedule and
tape it ............. ;)
Many have complained that President Bush was always gracious to a fault, but he will leave office with his head held high, and his honor intact, no matter what the natter nabobs of negativity have to say about him.
