OUR COVENANT WITH GOD
Abram accepted the covenant God offered him, "I Am God Almighty; walk before me and be blameless. I will confirm my covenant between me and you and will greatly increase your numbers." Abram fell face-down, and God said to him, "As for me, this is my covenant with you: you will be the father of many nations. No longer will you be called Abram: your name will be Abraham, for I have made you a father of many nations." (Genesis 17:1-5). Like Abraham, we also have a covenant with God; we are asked by God to "walk before Him" loving one another as He has loved us. When we are in covenant with God, we humbly submit ourselves, innocent from self-centered interest, to obey His commands to love our God with all of our being, and to love our neighbor as ourselves. Fulfilling the covenant with God, Abraham received the blessing of familial prosperity. God's desire is to grant prosperity to each of our lives. Are we faithful in our love of God and each other?

Kathy;
Thank you for your kind words of the past week. I was hoping you might be able to play "Lifesong" by Casting Crowns.
My Uncle was a believer of these verses.
(John 6:35 KJV) And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.
36 But I said unto you, That ye also have seen me, and believe not.
37 All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.
38 For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.
39 And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.
40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.

Almighty and eternal God, Protect our soldiers as they discharge their duties. Protect them with the shield of your strength and keep them safe from all evil and harm. May the power of your love enable them to return home safely to the people who love them and to the gratitude of the American people..We ask this through Christ our Lord.
TO OUR VETERANS, THOSE IN THE MILITARY AND THEIR FAMILIES *THANK YOU*

L0L it does sound yummy.
I will let you know how it turns out.
That home made venison sausage was good but could have used more fat and the smoke was liquid smoke.
It was really good though

CAn you believe the people that throw out the au ju?
Oh.. I saw bacon wrapped spiced Tx Quail today too. Like 2.50 a piece fresh. looked mighty tempting, those are real good and the price was right but I need about 6 of those just for me in one meal
