WisComm-sin?
Oh he'll make some money on the deal but the officer involved won't have to pay any of it. The taxpayers won't even notice what has been stolen from them either so they won't complain. If it should happen several times, as it apparently has in Virginia, the taxpayers may take notice and complain... but I doubt it.
I agree. There are a lot of P O’d people out there and an underground movement on many fronts is going to start up. Occupied people always find ways to undermine the occupiers. Doing so in smart ways is the key.
More importantly, the prudent citizen would be very very very reluctant to empower the police to make primary stops of any kind. Because the attitude of the State is do what we say or we can and will shoot you. This is an implicit threat because of the fact that Police carry loaded firearms.
What was it that Charlton Heston used to say?
Sadly though if it happens most likely it will be branded negatively, some groups do have a negative agenda, its up to most of us to exercise a POSITIVE agenda, and not just be another angry mob.
Case in point the Berkley riot about the BART shooting, it sent a message but the players came from a bad source.
“West Allis police drew their weapons and arrested Bruce Krause, who was wearing a holstered legal pistol while planting trees on his own property.”
Apparently, planting trees is a big no-no these days!
Ping on Wisconsin
It will be interesting to see how it all evolves.
I haven't heard a single officer even suggest this.
It has been going on incrementally for a long time. The sad thing is that people keep equating the Second Amendment with hunting rights. Why would people ever arm themselves if it wasn’t to hunt or target shoot?
Children should be taught in elementary school that this proud nation was founded on open, armed, rebellion against a tyrant who was trying to take the fruits of their labors and redistribute them.
“One or Two”? You think that poorly of my skills?
Do you need a source or are you willing to accept that its true? Check this out then.

Don’t count on it. Military is a machine of the State. Believe me, don’t count on it.
UNLESS...you happen to be a Mexican drug smuggler that is....
How about defusing the whole situation by vastly reducing the reasons for primary traffic stops?
I will accept the increased risk of traffic accidents and even death in return for freedom.
I guess we’re lucky here in eastern Iowa.
Every DNR guy I’ve ever come across has been very friendly and even downright helpful. They usually ask if we’ve been successful and many times will tell us were they’ve seen the deer moving that morning.
Most all that I’ve met are very pro hunting. They know that our license fees pay their salaries.
Three cheers for Mark Palan.
