Lets see here. Here we have an election with more votes cast than there were voters.
Yep! Another Democrat victory!

What would the reaction be if Rush Limbaugh was in the Senate?

the man is a loose cannon with absolutely no redeeming value. other than that he is a crappy comedian, and bad actor, but an excellent salesman for LUVs diapers.

I don’t see him as a public enemy, but I will be very disappointed if he does not establish a rep as the Dem’s prime buffoon.

The GOP should see Fruitken as a loose cannon, and plan to deal with him as such. Make the clown go boom in the wrong place, at the wrong time, and towards the wrong person. Problem solved. Constantly nudge him over the edge.

Does it occur to anyone else, that there is something terribly wrong in Conservatism central, if we can’t beat the pants off a guy like Al Franken?
This strikes at the core problem I have had with Bush over the last eight years. He ran against two of the most light-weight Democrats there have ever been. And he was only able to scrape by each time.
Seriously folks, if we can’t differentiate ourselves from the Marxists in ways that reveal how much more sound we are as leaders, then we just don’t deserve to win.
Many will be lamenting Franken being seating in the Senate. I will be lamenting the collapse of Conservatism. If we can’t get our act together and beat the likes of Franken, holy s—t, are we ever in trouble.
The problem as I see it, is that our politicians don’t do Conservatism. And thus they get their lunch handed to them. When they get tired of it, perhaps they will try pushing what sells.

Between Jesse Ventura and Franken, the voters of Minnesota seem determined to make sure every American knows that they think our government and, presumably, our country, is a great big joke.

Franken’s *election* is a joke! Conservatives at the grass roots’level need to start working NOW to put a good conservative in office next.

Seriously? Where was the news on that? If that’s the case, that’s got to come out.
If this comedian gets in (IF) then it doesn’t mean anything, does it? It’s still not a filibuster-proof senate, correct?

You’re just now realizing this?

Right! If Franken is GOP Enemy #1, as my pappy used to say “We All in a heap O’ trouble”
