I don't know what public interest in served by letting people know what Joe Six Pack's political views are. If he wants to share them, he can do so voluntarily. He should never be compelled to lose his anonymity in order to participate in our political process. The California courts should strike down the disclosure requirements as unconstitutional, infringing and invasive of guarantees of privacy, freedom of speech and freedom of association.

the Yes on 8 site had most of the contributors on their website prior to the election so they could brag about it, it wasn’t until they got the negative attention that they wanted anonymity

Unfortunately, this Act DIDN'T work to expose who was REALLY donating to the Obama campaign. That's because conservatives try to play by the rules. They need to stop that.
