The nation's top selling conservative author has been banned from appearing on NBC, insiders tell the DRUDGE REPORT.

"We are just not going to have her on any more, it's over," a top network source explains.
NBC's TODAY show abruptly cut Ann Coulter from its planned Tuesday broadcast, claiming the schedule was overbooked.
Coulter was set to unveil her new book, GUILTY.
But one network insider claims it was the book's theme -- a brutal examination of liberal bias in the new era -- that got executives to dis-invite the controversialist.
"We are just not interested in anyone so highly critical of President-elect Obama, right now," a TODAY insider reveals. "It's such a downer. It's just not the time, and it's not what our audience wants, either."
For the book, Coulter reportedly received the most-lucrative advance ever paid to a conservative author.
The TODAY show eagerly invited the author months ago, for her first network interview on GUILTY.
The exclusive was to air during the show's 7 AM hour. The cut came Monday afternoon.
Executives at NBC TODAY replaced Coulter with showbiz reporter Perez Hilton, who recently offer $1,000 to anyone who would throw a pie at Ann Coulter. Hilton is also launching a new book this week, RED CARPET SUICIDE.

Yet, if it were someone highly critical of Bush, they’d be the top front liner. But no, they aren’t biased...not at all.
Yes, but with steadily decreasing numbers.
This coupled with Chris Matthews admitting that he thought it was his job to be helpful to Obama shows how openly partisan NBC is. They don't even try to hide it anymore.
They make the case that after years of relentless Bush bashing it's time to give a new face a break and emphasize the positive. So when Sarah Palin came on the scene and her speech bowled everyone over, did NBC say "well, our audience wants us to be upbeat and positive about her, she's fresh and new"? Hah! Wrong party, obviously.
Indeed, could they possibly name one time they banned someone for being too hard on Bush? Olbermann still has a job there so of course not.

UPDATE: An NBC spokesperson tells Politico that Coulter was bumped for news coverage out of Washington and the Middle East, and would be welcomed back in the future. Perez Hilton will still be on the show.

Probably why she’s a conservative, if that rumor is true. That’s the only place where she’ll meet people open-minded enough to accept that.
The left would use it as a tool to segregate and control people’s lives.
The lefty loons also use rumors to spread untruths about people to shift public opinion. Some loons even repeat rumors on conservative sites, imagine!
They might as well say that they are hiding the truth from the people.

Well, apparently that's at least one thing that you got wrong. I never said that the MSM is dying. Far from it. It's consolidating its power at almost every level. People who think otherwise are either delusional or blind.
I am fairly new to this board. But, that doesn't mean I'm new to the world. You call them "nutroots". I call them voters. Granted, they are unengaged, uninformed and probably not very intelligent. But sadly, their vote counts just as much as yours or mine. If conservatives don't figure out how to reach these "great unwashed", we will never win another national election.
To discount them and the media they watch only helps to bolster the DNC and their candidates.
I can’t speak for Ann Coulter, but if I could I would be saying, “I couldn’t care less!”
