Well if conservatives are gonna take back congress in 2010 then Franken will be the reason the rats lose big !
If half the population is willing to vote for people like Obama and Franken, the war is already lost.
Hard lessons coming to all.
We are talking about Minnesota aren’t we?
Does this mean that The End Times so many talk about are here?
It’s bad enough that Franken is a talentless buffoon and failed comedian. It’s worse that he’s clearly stolen the election thanks to the Democrats who run the state and the recount process. It reminds us of Chicago-machine cesspool politics when another Mayor Dailey stole the election from Nixon in 1960.
There HAS to be a lawsuit here
The Democrats made sure that the margin was more than the 133 votes that Coleman would get if the double counted votes were thrown out. That would seem to hurt Coleman's chances. By dragging this out so long, people have lost interest. It's a sad commentary on what was once a great country.
Part of the problem are those who stayed at home election day and the Third Party loons.
The same situation that gave us Bill Clinton
I agree. All the RINO’s have to go before the GOP will rise again from the ashes. In the immortal words of Joey Biden “I got one word for you” Bob Dole, the GOP did not get it then and did not get it in 2008. Core convictions matter.
I knew that POS would succeed at stealing the election.
Just count and keep counting til you find enough votes.
Pathetic
“The beginning of the end of the Republic.
If a clown why not a horse ?
Didnt the Romans start electing sheep for office at the end?”
Actually Caligula’s horse “Incitatus” was appointed to the Roman Senate.
Rumor has it that he always voted “neigh”.
“Hes going to battle now and I applaud it.”
He should’ve been using every tactic legally to halt the recount and counting of votes twice. And counting of votes found in trunks of cars and empty union warehouses. Instead, nothing but cooperation and bi-partisanship. In the spirit of the season doncha know.
Don’t get me wrong, this country’s history is littered with these types of incidents. And there will be more in the future. Being magnanamous just isn’t the way to proceed if you are interested in winning. If it were, we would’ve had President Gore on 9/11. Can you imagine the cold discussion of the “environmental impact” of the collapse of the world trade center?
Were there more people in Florida who voted or meant to vote for Gore? Its entirely possible, but Democrats pay a price for catering to the stupid. Its kind of like an NFL game, it usually comes down to the last drive and a third and 8, and who’s going to make a play. Right now, the Republican party is the Detroit Lions of politics and MEDIA.
Disgusting.
Bingo, most liberals I know have a religious faith in “government” and believe that any anonymous left wing government will do the right thing on every issue affecting their lives. They become very angry and upset when confronted with facts, details, and human nature.
...Then, Cicero had the incriminating letters read before the Senate the following day, and shortly thereafter these 5 conspirators were condemned to death without a trial despite an eloquent protest by Julius Caesar. Fearing that other conspirators might try to free Lentulus and the rest, Cicero had them strangled in the Tullianum immediately. He even escorted Lentulus to the Tullianum personally. After the executions, he announced to a crowd gathering in the Forum what had occurred...

I don’t know. I left in 74 and it was the BEST place in the world to grow up-—minus the cold. The people’s character was like watching an episode of Little House on the Prairie. I don’t know what happened once I left ;-)
