Democrats urge Republicans to "Practice what you preach" - (Give Caroline a chance)
Liberal Lunacy ^ | 1/3/08 | Liberal Lunacy Staff/REM

(Washington, D.C. - 1/3/09) Democrats across the board, including progressives on the far left, who are ardent supporters of Caroline Kennedy, are growing impatient with Republicans and others who are concerned about her apparent lack of qualifications for a likely U.S. Senatorial appointment.

In a specious statement from the DNC, tolerance and understanding of this appointment are required:

“We firmly believe Caroline “You Know” Kennedy is the absolutely best choice that could be made for the people of New York, the U.S. Senate and for the people of America. All of America should now be pleased there is a voice for the oratorically-impaired which otherwise would go missing. This is an important part of the Change coming to America and we demand acceptance of this historic appointment.”

“We only wish our friends on the right would practice what they preach and be as tolerant of Caroline as we on the left have been of Republican female appointments and nominees to all levels office. We’re tired of our nominees/appointees having to put up with overt naysayers, undeserved criticism and unfounded rumors while we treat theirs with dignity, respect and a tolerance for opposing views. We demand equal treatment.”

“Significantly”

Your just off by a few orders of magnitude. She is in the attomole range (10 to the -18).

It is up to the Governor. And why do we need
“professionals” in the congress? What has happened to the idea of a citizen legislature? These professionals have undermined the Constitution to the point of no Liberty for the citizens.

agreed.

As a Yankee fan I took my kids to the stadium under the Dinkins fiasco admin. I promised, NEVER AGAIN.

didnt go for years until the Yanks were once again playoff timbre and Rudy was mayor. WOW. you could walk the streets of the south Bronx again. and the people who sold their wares on the street (mostly illegal I suppose competing with Steinbrenners own souvenir and food business) were pleasant and polite.

Caroline Kennedy — why should we care about her political career?

I, for one, am tird of the Kennedy worshippers and the Obama worshippers. It’s idolatry and you know what God thinks about that.

Why does the GOP need to give Caroline a chance? The Dems control NY.

Shoooot!! The libs don’t get it. The last I saw was the RATS ranting about Caroline’s lack of qualifications. The Pubbies are hoping she gets the job as she will be easy to beat....”you know....you know”.

Significantly less qualified than tens of millions of average working Americans. This individual has not had to understand or face the typical economic challenges most Americans face, after some real life experience, successfully. Neither has she, because of her celebrity name, had to face many challenges to her intellectual perspective or knowledge. However, this makes her quite attractive in the Senate to the Dem party. It is a more powerful position than Representative and she will simply vote however she is told. That makes her votes both predictable and determined by the Senate Dem leadership. What more could you want except perhaps more such automatons for your party. She is more attractive than another rabid Dem/Socialist Senator because that kind of Senator might disagree. CK would have a hard time disagreeing given she has little knowledge to back up an opinion.

No. Why would I be kidding? Hannity says "you know" every other sentence. How does commenting on his inability to speak without sounding like an idiot teenager make me a troll?
