FWIW, body make-up may be what you’re seeing. Properly applied, it may reduce or eliminate the need for any photo tricks, AND you don’t have to rework every photo because the initial element in the photo is already “modified.”

Danica appears to have an excellent complexion and body skin. My vote: no airbrushing, a little make-up. She has a lot of natural beauty to her in addition to the toning necessary to race a car.

I loved doing work with models with perfect skin; you use the lights to reveal their beauty instead of hiding imperfections.

If there is any modification at all, it must be within the black area, which is hard to detect. But, look at all her other photos on the Internet. She is well toned and has as many curves at the racetrack. I believe that you’re looking at the genuine article.

Keep in mind that these drivers must lift weights and exercise to stay in good shape.
