Hello Jim,
My name is Gail Cook and I am Moonman's wife. Moon passed away on Saturday morning after a long illness with Cancer. He loved this site, he loved being a Freeper. I noticed that he made a comment the day before he died, and it made me cry. Is there a way you can let the members know that Moon is now with the Lord in his new heavenly home? He was 58 years young, married for 32 years, was a loving husband and father to two children a daughter Kelly and his son, Justin. Also two little grandson's. He loved this country, and was an amazing American.

May they all...and may we all...rest assured in the knowledge that come what may in this life, there is a far, far better place of pure peace, love, and joy awaiting us all when we finish our sourjourn on this earth, which is, after all, only our temporary home.
There's a lesson to me in this. I had wanted to ask him about a post of his recently, as well as some other things...and I waited too long.
RIP, Moonman. Thank you for what you brought to this forum. And thank you, Jim, for passing this along.
May your husband rest in peace. You and your family are in my prayers.

Rest in the comforting arms of Jesus.
He has said: 'I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee'. And we know the time will come when HE will swallow up death, and wipe away all tears and take away the rebuke upon His people.
Life is short, but eternity is forever -- keep your eyes on our Lord and Saviour - for with Jesus is everlasting life.
Thank you for letting us know the very sad news of your husband's passing.
Moonman will be greatly missed here.
