I suspect that gays are given almost preferential treatment by adoption agencies....in order to be "fair".......

a child can be raised in a household of two males or two females.....but its not a mommy/daddy situation and never can be.....I am just old fashioned and no matter how people complain, there is nothing better than a sound marriage between a man and a woman for civilization and child raising.....

since when do adoptive parents of any kind bear mention on a birth certificate?

Hypothetically, let’s say that there are no normal couples available to raise an adopted child. Would you rather see the child go to a single woman who is a whore or to your relatives?

umm part of the reason for a birth certificate is to document who the genetic parents are. This shows they care more for themselves than for the child.

I agree, but the original is usually sealed, and sometimes destroyed.

I can see restricting access more than usual, but the kid should be able to find out his real genetic ancestry and who his real parents were. When he becomes an adult. The genetic ancestry part is more and more important as more diseases are found to have a genetic component, at least so far as perceptibility and sometimes in the sense of "genetic defect".

But the fact that birth certificates, even the "vault copy" can be changed, should bring a dose of realism to those who think some document, even if not a forgery, that is made up from the current data on the BC, is sufficient to prove "natural born" status. It' also why Hawaii and the US State Department won't accept the short form for some purposes and in the case of State, from some countries.

A birth certificate records the biological parents.

Actually it's common practice, and has been for quite some time, to either reissue a new certificate or amend or shreds a new one upon adoption. The practice got started just before we came to understand the genetic component of many diseases.

The argument that there are no families wanting to adapt special-needs children is not true either. I heard this one a few weeks ago. I didn't have the facts at the time, but later the same day, I happened to pick up an article by a family who adopted a Downs Syndrome child. There were over 200 couples in the same adoption area waiting for a special needs child.

If homosexuals are not interested in children, then why is one of the platforms of the gay agenda to lower the age of consent.

I think it would be better for children to be in a good orphanage than part of a social experiment.

Just one more reason why I am in favor of Open Birth Records for adoptees once they reach the age of majority...

in adoption, the orignial birth certificate is sealed and a new certificate is issued with the adopting parents names. Even if you adopt a ten year old and were not married then the child’s birth certificate would reflect you as parents.

It is a legal fiction.

No adoptive birth certificate has bio parents on it.

Bio parents are never on an adoptive birth certificate. The origianl is sealed.

Since the beginning of adoption. Adoption is the process of sealing the original birth certificate and placing the adoptive parents names on the adotpive birth certificate.

thanks for the clarification. It seems that the document isn’t a certificate of birth, rather one of ownership, like a title to a house listing the current owners.

The argument that there are no families wanting to adapt special-needs children is not true either.

My brother and his wife are active foster parents for a local unwed mother home that takes in the dregs of unwed motherhood: drug addicts, abuse/rape victims, underage, etc. The babies born to these horrible environments are often special-needs, to say the least. The demand for these babies by loving adoptive (traditional) families is incredible: the families can't get them soon enough and my brother's family only keeps them about a month - just enough time for the adoption process to be expedited. I have yet to hear of a baby that this organization has trouble placing in a home, no matter how disabled the child is.

The left constantly makes up its own fiction for political expediency.

Aside from the obviously detrimental effect this will have on the kid in later years this ruling is troubling. It will be used by proponents of gay marriage to force states to recognize same-sex marriages of couples from other states.

Another homosexual judge, or at the least homophilic, awards kids a lifetime of sexual abuse and harrassment at the hands of deviants. The Judge should be hanged for this blatant child abuse.

Molesting little boys is part of the homosexual obsession. Some of the homosexuals that infiltrated the catholic church molested over 100 boys. Molesting boys is a game in the San Fran area to the deviants running the show — they label the young boys “twinks.” Most queers deny membership in NAMBLA.org and claim to distance themselves in the interest of self preservation. More than 90% of male homosexuals were in fact themselves molested as young boys by older queers. This activity, like fecal consumption, is yet the part of the lifestyle remaining in the closet—you won’t find it on the Will and Grace show.
