NEW ORLEANS -- A same-sex couple in California has won a federal court ruling that their adopted son's Louisiana birth certificate must bear the names of both adoptive fathers.
The facts are so clear that no trial is needed, U.S. District Judge Jay Zainey wrote.
"What a great Christmas present for these guys!" said Kenneth D. Upton Jr. who represented Oren Adar and Mickey Ray Smith of San Diego.
In his ruling Monday, Zainey said Louisiana's Office of Vital Records must give full faith and credit to the New York State court in which Adar and Smith adopted the boy, he ruled Monday. The office had refused to issue a birth certificate listing both as the boy's legal parents.

What selfish people. “Great” for the sodomites, a tragedy for the child, not to mention spitting in the eye of the Lord during Christmas.
The article and judgment calls them ‘parents.’ They are not the boy’s parents. They are wanna-be, phony parents.

All we hear is wimpish rationalizing about the "rights" of perverts.
The courts place the welfare of children second to the desires of sexual deviates to play house.
This country is balanced on the brink of failing and continues to move in the wrong direction.
Can you imagine the horror stories that we will be obliged to hear about 10 to 15 years from now? We are allowing children to be placed in harms way. Oh my, the price we will pay for what this country has done to children before and after birth.
So Judge Zainey declared him legally a butt baby. WTF?
Someday that kid’s gonna’ go hunting for the judge who condemned him to a life of abuse and he’s gonna’ get away with it ‘cause no jury will convict.
Unfortunately the Democrats don’t have a corner on the “Perve” market.
umm part of the reason for a birth certificate is to document who the genetic parents are. This shows they care more for themselves than for the child.
Especially when the boy turns on them and kills them both
for either screwing him or just plain screwing up his life.
That’s what I was wondering, too. What is customary in the situation of adoption? Whose name is on the BC? I though the BC was a matter of biology but in this case, there are two men listed, neither of whom have a biological connection to the child.
Imagine in 20 or 30 years when he has to show his bc for some legal reason (not to run for president because it’s officially not required any more). It will show two men and no women - how humiliating. Very, very selfish.
While the birth certificate is supposed to show who the bio parents are, it is also supposed to show who the adoptive parents are, too. After the adoption is finalized, an amended birth certificate issued.

That is probbly why they did it. So they keep him at home and screw him. without a bc, no id no nothing. Who would want to show a bc with two male names on it. Not me.

And Johnny’s two daddies want for devolution of this nation. If one reads Adam Smith or any of the papers of The Founders, they will see that the limitless destiny that Providence provided in this nation was the resources, ability, and freedom for prosperity to flourish, and beget more prosperity.
The agenda of these types, in league with environmentalism, socialism, communism is to become grow as a cancer, and metastasize until the nation is destroyed from within.
We are now recognizing relationships that can bear no fruit. We are now encouraging those who bear fruit to destroy it before birth. These policies will eventually lead to the stagnation and decline of American population growth. Not because the majority has abortions or is gay, but because the majority is discouraged about the future prospects for what fruit they would bear.
If our population growth stops, so will our economic growth. The same growth that feeds our military power. Don’t think those across the Pacific aren’t paying attention.

Look, in the foster care system, you sometimes have some really unpleasant choices. You can have the kid languish in the system, which doesn’t prepare them at all for life outside (because gov’t makes a LOUSY parent), or maybe there’s someone out there that wants to be a parent that just happens to be gay.
I don’t like it, either but I’d say if there are no hetero married couples or single people to take a kid, having them be raised by gay people may not be such a terrible thing.
Believe me, state run group homes and other foster homes can’t give the kids the stability they need.
