In the midst of two wars and an intensifying economic meltdown, Barack Obama had to take time off last week to answer questions from federal prosecutors investigating charges that the governor of Illinois had put the president-elect's former Senate seat up for sale. With his own lawyer by his side, Obama sat down Thursday with U.S. Attorney Patrick Fitzgerald's staff to tell what, if anything, he knew about Gov. Rod Blagojevich's efforts to cash in on appointing Obama's Senate successor

9pm Dec.23 Just heard an ABC “news” update on a talk radio station,,,,they did a straight news story saying that Obama’a team investigated Obama’s team and found no impropriety happened with Obama’s team (my paraphrase). LOL. This is too funny. The next 4 years will be hard to take. More duct tape please.

“It matters not - he’s untouchable.”

Everyone has an Achilles. It’ll surface eventually. He’s too dirty to skate by forever.

Hey now! I’ve been avoiding that picture all day!

What has been seen,,,,cannot be unseen.

A serious man, about to take high office, does not walk around half naked. It is not dignified.

Ick. Not presidential material.

The Messiah should keep in mind that lying to a federal investigator is a crime.

Watch out for those perjury traps Barry!

True but then again, just imagine all the fun we will have. Just heard about Richardson being implicated too with some financial issue. A scandal a week. Sometimes two. These Chicago thugs are following the big Zero right into the WH. Fascinating.

Why did he have to sit down with Fitzgerald? Obama did his own investigation and found he had done nothing inappropriate. Obviously, Fitzgerald is on some kind of witch hunt. /s

I'm sure he does have his weakness, but the only thing people in this nation care about is themselves. They are still breaking their arms patting themselves on the back for having "elected a black guy."

I fear for this country - we're likely to elect him for a second term. Only after that will we see this guy for what he really is....and by then, it will already be too late.

Well perhaps because as part of an investigation, the prosecutor does this little thing called an interview and why not interview Obama? Afterwards, I think Fitzgerald was pretty clear cut about the result and I think that Obama will keep Fitzgerald in place here in Illinois. I think we’re digging for wishes on this one and that the birth certificate issue has more chance than this one

Obama, Blago, JJJ, and Rahmbo all say they did nothing wrong.

Id say Fitz is looking like an fool if he cant come up with another arrest for perjury.

Somebody is lying like a rug.

Where is the Republican leadership? Since when does this country allow someone to investigate themselves? If this were a Republican president-elect, we would already be one week into senate hearings. This makes me sick because it is just the beginning of what is to come. This is how the communist leaders do it.
