If I had a bigger ego, I could easily imagine that liberals say and do the things they say and do simply to perplex or annoy me. But I know I shouldnt take it personally. All sane and sensible people are equally dismayed. Continues...

Obama, restoring America's image, one scandal at a time
Apparently, the biggest requirement to work in the Obama administration is establishing that you're actively under criminal investigation. Obama is desperately angling to outdo Clinton even before he's inaugurated. It helps that he's brought onboard The Clinton Administration to pick up where it left off.
In fairness, Obama insists that his staff, after a thorough investigation by his staff, is not involved in wide-spread corruption, bribery, influence peddling, shady-dealings, racketeering, kickbacks -- technically known as 'The Government of Illinois'. He'd love to release details of this impartial investigation but he says Fitzgerald won't let him be the bold and candid leader that he is.
On the 'Scandals We Can Believe In' front, the latest:
-- A federal grand jury is probing to see if Gov. Bill Richardson, who awarded a contract to a company based on donations to his PAC, may have awarded the contract based on donations to his PAC. The company -- CDR Financial Products -- helped Jefferson County, Alabama, slide into near bankruptcy over bond deals. It won a lucrative contract for work in New Mexico after donating $110,000 to Bill Richardson, which he kept hidden in his beard. Obama would throw Richardson under the bus but the fat tub of lard won't fit underneath.
In line with Obama's policy of open government, Richardson held a press conference and answered questions about the scandal by promptly leaving the room. Feet, don't fail me now!
-- Eric Holder, Obama's pick to be the most moral and ethical Attorney General in history, says he forgot that he was appointed in 2004 to be "special investigator to the Illinois Gaming Board" by Blagojevich. And that he also forgot that he and Blagojevich held a widely-covered joint press conference to announce the appointment which slipped his mind and that his failing memory is the only reason he omitted mentioning his link to Blago in a 47-page Senate questionnaire after he found out about Blago's arrest. It's so easy to forget these things a whole five days later!
To show that he takes lying to a Senate committee seriously, Obama will send top investigator Joe Wilson to check into this.
Due to his role in the Marc Rich pardon, Holder was already in trouble, but if he withdraws, Bill Clinton can take his place as Obama's token black.
-- Speaking of nepotism and fugitives, Bill Clinton raked in tens of millions of bucks for his foundation from politicians and regimes throughout Asia and the Middle East, his donor list shows. This should allay concerns about his wife's impartiality as Secretary of State. Years ago, Bill Clinton decided he wanted to abolish poverty so he built a foundation named after himself and hiked his speaking fees. Stalwart poverty-fighting Saudi Arabia gave Clinton $10 million to $25 million. Other countries on the list include such Mother Teresas as Oman, Qatar, Brunei, along with the ruling family of Abu Dhabi. Canadian mining honcho Frank Giustra flew Bill Clinton around on his private jet to fight poverty. He donated up to $30 million. And it's working -- Clinton abolished his own poverty!
-- The scandal of Rahm "nobody-is-accusing-him-of-any-wrongdoing-in-this-thing" Emanuel has gone from 'no contact with Blagojevich' (nor the thing on his head), to only one contact, then to 'more than one contact' but 'no talks', then to 'some talks' but no 'pressing' for Valerie Jarrett, then to some 'pressing' for Val but no deal-making, then to some deal-making but no deal and no wiretaps with Rahm, then to some wiretaps with Rahm but Rahm was acting on his own since Obama's completely oblivious to his surroundings. Not content with telling a million easily disprovable lies, the Obamatrons were back to 'no contact' after Jarrett was taken out of the running. That lasted approximately a few seconds, now that Hussein's own hometown newspapers report that even after Jarrett was out, Rahm contacted Blago to submit a list of suitable cronies.
Come to think of it, where is Rahm Emanuel??? A week ago, ballerina boy claimed he couldn't answer Blagogate questions because of his fatherhood. Blago says he's got a lot to say, but not the right time. Obama says he's got a lot to say, but not the right time.
Obamatrons think of Blagogate as just Blago -- impeach, remove, problem solved. Osama bin Laden? Arrest the chap, throw the book at him, terrorism licked. But, hold on, it's more than just Blagojevich in Illinois. Every pol crawls through this sewer and, from the looks of it, none climb out of it clean. Zero can't hurl ballerina boy under the bus, or he'll sing, not just dance. Already, the wheels of impeachment are coming off. Illinois Supremes? Not touching it. Which is why all you get is wussy namby-pamby talk from Obama on Blagojevich. And when Blagojevich finally bleepin' sings, the payback will be a vich.
Anyway, that's...
My Two Cents...

Morning ping!
“In fairness, Obama insists that his staff, after a thorough investigation by his staff, is not involved in wide-spread corruption, bribery, influence peddling, shady-dealings, racketeering, kickbacks — technically known as ‘The Government of Illinois’. His staff, after a thorough investigation by his staff...
Hilarious!
Woo hoo hoo!
Bump-er-oo!
priceless.
In Peter Townsend’s words:
“Meet the new boss, same as the old boss...”
Good analysis.
The question remains who the heck is Zero aka Barry Obama, Barak Hussein Obama, Barry Soeteo, Barry Dunham, Barak Dunhan?
Obama is going to fit right in.
Mr. Hand I would like you to meet Mr. & Mrs. Glove.
Ya gotta luv it. Hail to the new boss, same as the old boss
I was so embarassed for President Bush yesterday when he was on TV. I couldn't follow him as he erred, and ahhed and ummed his way through .. I don't know ... after two or three minutes, he lost me.
I flipped channels and it was wall-to-wall zero.
... and it occurred to me ... zero has effectively removed President Bush from office from the day after the election.
Daily press meetings, arrogant confidence, assumed senate approval, no one speaks more than a thank you and off the stage ... All so very orchestrated.
I've used the word, and I've seen it only a couple of times, even here in FR ... but no one seems to realize the successful coup of our central government by a more organized Chicago/Washington mob Al Capone would kill to have.
I wonder how many people understand the irony of "The Drive-By Media" ?
JANUARY 19, 2001 : (ERIC HOLDER - FUTURE OBAMA CAMPAIGN VP VETTER - DELIVERS HIS PARDON ASSESSMENT , FAVORABLE TO PARDONING MARC RICH, TO THE CLINTON WHITE HOUSE --- See PAYOFFS, BIDEN) Then, on Jan. 19, 2001, Mr. [Eric] Holder delivered his pardon assessment to the White House, telling Beth Nolan, the White House counsel, that he was neutral leaning favorable on the Rich pardon. His decision, he added, was influenced by the support of Ehud Barak, the Israeli prime minister.
The people in the United States attorneys office in New York werent the only ones surprised by Mr. Holders decision. Deborah Smolover, his top deputy for pardon cases, did not find out about the pardon for Mr. Rich until the White House called to inform her of it after midnight on Jan. 20. (Mr. [Pincus] Green won a pardon, too.) After the pardon was signed, Mr. [Jack] Quinn has testified, Mr. Holder called him to commend him on a very good job. Mr. Holder also asked Mr. Quinn to consider hiring two former aides, one of whom had already contacted Mr. Quinn on Jan. 2 at Holders suggestion. ******

[******IOW, THE PARDON ASSISTANCE TO QUINN BY ERIC HOLDER WAS TO BE "PAID OFF" BY HIRING TWO FORMER AIDES? not to mention Denise Rich's gifts to the prez... who were the aides?]
It’s the Clinton’s all over again.
“Mr. Hand I would like you to meet Mr. & Mrs. Glove.”
And you know what they say? “If the glove don’t fit, ya gotta acquit.”
The more truth there is in your writings, the funnier they are. Thanks for the morning laugh.
JH2:
Brilliant, as usual.
Hope you have a safe, warm, and joyous Christmas.
Excellent! I miss reading your 2 cents every week.
Thanks!
Good Job!
Can’t get enough and Zero hasn’t even been sworn in.
You’ve nailed it again, John!!
Thank you so very much for your excellent wrap-up!
