Why would you say that? I've been following the whole recount locally and everything has been done very openly and fairly so far. We had an incredibly close election - not surprisingly given the total losers running, and I think it's being handled about as well as it can be. The swings seen in the recount are actually quite tiny and typical in any election, but normally are not noticed because most wins are more decisive. Of course I don't want Al Franken as my Seantor, but I've been living in this state my whole life, and a result have no trouble believing that he could be the legitimate winner. The will of the voters should be recognized, whether you or I like it or not.

If someone cast NO vote for the race, I see NO reason to “assume” that they “intended” to vote for Franken just because they voted for Obama.
