At least she’s familiar with all the “procedures” of what’s to come.
Can you guys fill me in? I do not see anything wrong with this.
Flash from the Past...
How old are you?
“Can you guys fill me in? I do not see anything wrong with this.”
Well, of course not, if you like the Clintons.
Say what????
just ask the ghost of Vince Foster
Is there no one else, even in this bad economy, skilled enough to answer phones? I find this really odd. If any chubby brunette, wearing a beret shows up...well...
I wonder what Ken Starr is up to these days?
“How old are you?”
That is not an answer to my sincere question. I am sorry but I have never heard of Clinton’s secretary. Did she do anything wrong besides work for Clinton?
Her experience will be an asset to Obama.
I also heard that he will hire Rosemary Woods to assist Betty. Rosemary will be in charge of electronic correspondence safe storage.
She knows where some of the the bodies are Barry’d ;)
Guaranteed employment.
Currie testified in front of the grand jury responsible for the perjury investigation in relation to Clinton's statement in the Paula Jones case. Lewinsky had testified that Currie had arranged a meeting at Lewinsky's apartment to pick up gifts given to her by Clinton, showed up at her Watergate apartment and said, "I believe you have something for me." Currie denied this charge and claimed that Lewinsky had arranged the meeting. Whoever instigated the meeting, Currie took the gifts in question home and stored them under her bed. The gifts included a brooch, T shirt from Martha's Vineyard, Walt Whitman's Leaves of Grass, and a hat pin. Lewinsky gave Clinton about 30 gifts; the poetry book was of interest as Bill had given a copy to Hillary also. The gifts were picked up after Jones' lawyers had subpoenaed them. She testified on January 27, May 6, May 7, May 14, and July 22. Currie revealed that Clinton had recently called her in to work on a Sunday and pointedly said to her, regarding Lewinsky and himself, "We were never alone, right?" among other leading questions. This, added to similar incidents involving other potential witnesses, led to Clinton's subsequent impeachment charge of obstruction of justice. Currie was not one of the four witnesses who gave video depositions during the Senate trial.
She also had asked Clinton's friend Vernon Jordan to help Lewinsky find a job on December 8, 1997. On January 18, 1998, she spoke with Clinton and they compared their memories about the Lewinsky situation.
During the scandal, it was also reported by the Washington Post that Currie was receiving counseling from Jesse Jackson.
Wait till mama Obama finds out the Betty Currie is in charge of hiring interns.
Nothing plus she KNOWS how to LIE for her boss.
I would say that the Clinton's will have an “enormous” amount of influence. Obama is all but surrounded by them from staffers, to Hillery, and even his secretary.......
I was of the opinion that Obama was the “Manchurian Candidate,” but I never thought he would actually pull it off. I figured he'd be stopped along the way because of his far left positions, his associations, lack of experience, character...... but I was wrong, and he won.
I think some people see Obama as a puppet, a marionette of a Democratic party and now that the Clinton's can get a piece of the pie, the Clinton machine. Some people see Obama as a mouthpiece and facade behind which very influential and powerful people stand.
FLASH: Betty Currie, now answers phones at Obama headquarters... Developing...

Virginia State Police recently concluded that the brother of President Clinton's personal secretary, Betty Currie, did not intend to commit suicide when he ran onto an interstate after a traffic accident and was struck and killed by an oncoming tractor-trailer.
Police say there is no explanation why Theodore R. Williams Jr. of Fort Washington, MD, darted from the highway shoulder after talking to a trooper who was investigating the accident with another truck. Williams had escaped the crash without injury.
A spokeswoman, Mary S. Evans, for state police told the Washington Post, “This has been ruled an `accidental death/motor-vehicle crash.’” She added that investigators concluded that “this is a traffic accident, a non-story story.”

Several months before the fatal accident, he had been severely beaten and hospitalized the night before Currie was supposed to testify before a Senate committee.
Has she filled the humidor with fresh cigars?
I really wonder, is Obama actually this brazen or is he a bleeping idiot?
