This is in Manassas, but back when my fam lived in Lake Ridge, after the illegals moved in on our block, the whole neighborhood went downhill. Usually, there would be a few men in their 20s and 30s sitting in the front yard, several houses down, watching everything...especially the young women who lived on the street, my sis included. The situation got bad enough that the young women on our block didn't go out alone.
The rape occurred in Manassas, which is in the Tenth Congressional District of Virginia. Our local Rep is Frank Wolf.

In all fairness the guy just got elected. Still, this is why I’m looking for a house in Frederick or Clark county, where I can see everyone coming from ten miles away.

Illegal alien pleads guilty to raping 9-year-old

A Dale County man who pleaded guilty to raping a 9-year-old girl was sentenced to a full 18 years in prison, according to authorities.
Marcos Velasquez-Morales, 31, of Level Plains, was charged July 30 with first-degree rape after authorities said he lived with the victim’s mother.
He was sentenced by Dale County Circuit Judge P.B. McLauchlin on Dec. 15, according to the Dale County Sheriff’s Office.
According to a press release from the Dale County Sheriff’s Office, Morales was an illegal alien from Mexico. He had been deported once from the U.S. in 2003, according to Immigration and Customs officials.

Slight vanity post - my son was Corey Stewart’s (R - Prince William Co, VA) campaign manager for his re-election as chairman of the Board of Supers. Stewart’s national claim to fame was to run on the “radical” idea that if these guys commit a crime and are found to be illegal, send ‘em home. OMG, you would have thought he said hitch them to a yoke and use them in a pasture! The kid did really well but ole Corey didn’t give him a job after the campaign - so we were stuck with seeing out the rest of a one year apartment contract. We also paid for the campaign cell phone bill - no thanks from candidate! Politics is an expensive line of work...
