She brought a copy of a chart with the name on it home so I could see it. I believe that that is a HIPAA violation.

(AGENDA OF THE LEFT EXPOSED)
Linden Court is a Housing Project.
Roslyn is a very expensive 'Gold Coast' town on the North Shore. The area has at least three large Hospital complexes (LIJ, North Shore University and St. Francis). These are the largest employers in the area. They need low-level workers who don't have to deal with travel time to get to work.
As a result there are housing projects tucked away throughout. These 'projects' are garden apartment style and air conditioned. Poverty sucks on the Gold Coast.

They dont say Buffalo, Upstate, New YorkTheres only 280,000 people in Buffalo. Theres over 3 million on Long Island.

Long Island has really changed since I grew up there.
I’m very familiar with Roslyn as my husband grew up in Port Washington. Boy, has that town changed. It feels like mini Tijuana.

Getting it - probably the same way Green Bay did: an industrial city with a strong fan base back in teh days when cities were much smaller than today.
Keeping it is a bigger question, since Toronto is interested in stealing the Bills away.
Actually, with that highly appropriate name, they should move south and become the second team in DC. ;)

how in hell did they ever get an NFL team?.............They were pretty close to the number 1 city for commerce in the country in 1904, but its been all downhill since then. It doesent help that theyre in the basket case State of New York, either, with unbelievable tax structure. Upstate looks like Siberia , in the Winter.

Yep, when we moved back to Nassau from Forest Hills a decade or so ago we looked at Roslyn, Port Washington, Manhasset and Great Neck. The girls were reaching HS age and we were focused on the schools.
Roslyn had too many urban types and the trouble that goes with that. PW had the same but the added attraction of all the Central Americans living downtown. Manhasset had the Pond Hill projects. All Great Neck had was uber-rich Jewish kids with attitude.
We chose Great Neck.

From the article:
The game was canceled with 26.8 seconds left and Roslyn leading 75-71. Later, Roslyn school district officials decided to forfeit the game "because of the behavior of our fans."That's pretty classy in my book. Looks like the school officials have a lot more character than some of the residents...
