HOLLYWOOD, Fla. — A little boy's murder that shocked parents everywhere, launched a national television crusade and confounded detectives for more than two decades may finally be solved.
Hollywood police today are expected to identify Ottis Toole as the killer of Adam Walsh, the 6-year old snatched from a Sears store at the Hollywood Mall on July 27, 1981.
Adam's severed head turned up two weeks later in Vero Beach and his body has never been found.

A lot of people shriek in outrage when they see parents with their little kids on “leashes”.
I think of this little boy, instead.
I believe that Ottis Toole was buddies with that other murderous scum of the earth, Henry Lee Lucas. I hope they can put this case to rest.
I've never followed this case closely, but this name was familiar, even to me. I think I've heard that John Walsh even went and talked to this man.
They were part of a killing spree here in Denver as well.

Toole’s maternal grandmother was a satanist who exposed him to various satanic practices and rituals in his youth and gave him the nickname “Devil’s Child”.

I lived in Hollywood Florida when this happened...I worked at Terrill Mt Machine at the time and it was horrible.....a little known fact tho..............some psychic from S Francisco was on a.m radio and being interviewed.....she said the boy was dead, his body dismembered and the dismembered part could be found displayed on a stick near water..........all that was born out as we walked canals after canals......
..this was so horrible, even bars closed short term to posse up and go lookin for this little boy.
I read the book about this several years ago, and remember the evidence strongly suggested this lowlife committed this crime, although it wasn’t enough to convict.
This slimeball died a few years ago, and if I remember correctly, he had AIDS.
May Adam’s killer be, at this very moment, screaming in agony as the flames of hell envelop and consume his very soul.

There was a point in time when homosexuality was classified as a mental/psychological disorder. The gay lobby had that removed in 1972/73, I believe. We have been making payment on that ever since.
Reopen the murderer case of SFPD Patrolman Brian McDonnel and put Bernadine Dorhn and Bill Ayers in California's gas chamber.
