Good names for a trio of toddlers? Heath and Deborah Campbell think so. The Holland Township couple has picked those names and the oldest child, Adolf Hitler Campbell, turns 3 today.
This has given rise to a problem, because the ShopRite supermarket in Greenwich Township has refused to make a cake for young Adolf's birthday.
"We believe the request ... to inscribe a birthday wish to Adolf Hitler is inappropriate," said Karen Meleta, a ShopRite spokeswoman. The Campbells turned down the market's offer to make a cake with enough room for them to write their own inscription and can't understand what all of the fuss is about.
"ShopRite can't even make a cake for a 3-year-old," said Deborah Campbell, 25, who is Heath's wife of three years and the mother of the children. "That's sad."
Others, such as Anti-Defamation League director Barry Morrison, applauded Shop Rite's decision.
"Might as well put a sign around their (the children's) neck that says bigot, racist, hatemonger," said Morrison. "What's the difference?"
Well, if the “background” in the one picture is in their house they are not POOR White trash.
Very good point. Both of the parents, both collecting disability, would’ve been useless eaters.

As stupid, and cruel to the children as I think this is, it’s the right of the parents to name the children whatever they dammed well please.
At the same time, it’s the right of the business to decide how they will make their birthday cakes.

A guy I served in the Air Force with had the middle name of Adolf. He was ridiculed for it, but it was nothing more than a tribute to a distant relative and his German heritage. No connection to THE Adolf whatsoever.
I suppose it could be like you have a middle name Hussein and there is some mideast dictator that comes to power.... oh wait.....
I would say, sure we can do it. And when they come to pick it up and open it, it will say Asshole Parents Campbell. If they complain, say Oopsie! Someone made a mistake. We’ll give you a refund. Then offer them a blank cake and a tube of frosting.

I noticed the tacky stuff on the shelf. Look between the Coke bottles on the tops shelf. It appears they have a brass one-fingered salute piece of ‘art.’ Classy folks all the way around. Poor, poor kids. :(
