Representative Presents Proof of Citizenship Bill (2012 Obama Showdown)

Republican Representative Mike Ritze has introduced a bill requiring candidates who file for office in Oklahoma to show proof of citizenship.

The idea came about from the controversy around whether President-elect Barack Obama meets the U.S. Constitutions citizenship requirements.

Ritze's bill requires all candidates, running for any office, to show a copy of a certified birth certificate as well as driver's license or other government-issued identification upon registering with the Election Board.

Currently, candidates must only sign an affidavit stating they are registered voters. Ritze doesn't think Obama's submitted birth certificate is authentic.

The U.S. Supreme Court wouldn't hear a challenge of Obama's electoral eligibility Monday, but more challenges are pending. The certificate Obama has shown reflects a birthdate and place of August 4th, 1961 in Honolulu, Hawaii.

Since the Supreme Court doesn’t seem to think it has any business standing up for the Constitution, all states should adopt a law like this.

Great idea but I won’t hold my breath. Obama needs to show us his birth certificate, period!

By the way, I noticed that the FR keywords, “birthcertificate” and “certifigate” (or something like that) has been removed from the FR keywords.

Does anyone know why? When I wanted to learn the latest about Obama’s b.c. issue, I could just click on those keywords but they are now gone.

Oh Ayers will be revealed as a MAJOR coward, you can bet on that. And you'll live to see it, just like I'm going to. In the next little while, there is going to evolve two new types of conservatives, one type will be trying to 'work within the system' in the deluded belief that the capture of our government by the Obamunists (Communists by any other name) is just "business as usual".

Guess what: it's not. The other type of conservative is going to be going to a place where no conservative has gone before, it's going to be a place where Comrade 0bama and his entire cadre of followers will want to flee from with every ounce of their wretched souls, but there will be no escape.

The Communist revolution that has just taken place in America is going to fail, but it won't fail without extreme measures being taken first.

Remember, a one term president is a weak president.

That is, if people start to strongly suspect early in a president's first term that the president will be forced to serve only one term, then that president will have his power dramatically weakened during that first term.

So, a one term President Obama would be a very weak president indeed.

But if a state requires a presidential candidate to provide a long form birth certificate---the one with the doctor and birth hospital names on it---then it will be a lot easier to prove that a candidate is or is not a natural born citizen.

Again, without a doctor's or birth hospital name on a birth certificate, it is very difficult to know or to find out for sure whether or not a presidential candidate is a natural born citizen.
