Putie tried to Anschluss the Ukraine and is now getting away with pulling a Sudetenland in Georgia. He’s also begun pushing up on Poland.
Anyone else see a familiar pattern here? Especially in the craven, cowardly, pathetically weak reactions to his predations by the “western powers”?

What we need is a strong fascist response to the communist threat...or do we need a strong communist response to the fascist threat? I can't tell the players without a program any more...

John Kerry notwithstanding - Neither the EU nor NATO has ANY moral authority to tell anyone what to do. The EU and NATO has more pressing problems - like the mass invasion of jihadis - than going off into Georgia to meet with little Mussolini- Saashkavili.
They lost all credibility when the bombed Serbia and severed the province of Kosovo to create a new jihadi state.

The way I read it, a more accurate headline would be:
"Georgians retake village then lose it again, no shots fired"
Russians had remained there after the recent face-off.

This is just a warm up to the real test which will be in one of the new NATO countries of the FSU. A place like Narva, Estonia which is on the border and is 90% Russian speaking. What will Obambi and the Germans do when Russian tanks roll into a FSU NATO country?
