Barack Obama's upcoming presidency gives many reasons for conservatives to be concerned. All the more reason that we stick to substantive provable issues, as opposed to chasing such illusive rainbows as his alleged lack of a birth certificate. Such preoccupation adds to the bad name already accorded legitimate "conspiracy theories."

You may be more correct than you’ll ever know referring to him as Lord Obama. His dad was a loyal british subject by law. There’s no debating this.
We just want Obama to do what every other citizens in the United States has to do to get a job, show proof of his citizenship with US documents deemed acceptable by the US government.
Along the continuum from proven to be qualified to purported to be qualified, the term deemed falls quite a bit closer to the latter than the former.
This is not a “conspiracy theory”. Its not a tin foil hat issue. Its a compliance issue. Obama needs to show he is a Natural Born Citizen and if he cannot do so, he is Constitutionally barred from ever being President. Where is the damned “conspiracy” in that??
The Obama organization send out instructions to the media on how to deal with issues that might embarrass them. You can bet the one they sent out on this issue said-

Really?? I thought that the precise statement was that the State of Hawaii "had a birth record on file"---but nowhere produces the necessary proof of WHERE the birth actually took place. Has the Hawaii SoS signed an affidavit under oath that states that Obama was born in Hawaii???
As many others have said, this is an easily resolved question---either produce the actual birth record, or a legally sworn affidavit as to where the place of birth was.
After his "Christmas Vacation" to the islands and observing his actions since the general election I, as many millions of real Americans, will never believe a damn word he speaks. By now I could care less if he shows up with "his" full birth certificate signed by Dr. J. Christ. He should have done that before he spent $800,000.00 hiding it. He is a punk socialist Chicago politician/crook raised around Marxists / America-haters and is just like the rest of the worthless trash he has associated with all his adult life and that is all he will ever be.

Rumors are that he refuses to release any and all of his college records because he was registered as a “foreign” student.

At the same time though I believe that if Obama refuses to show his BC and the Gov’t refuses to make him then WE THE PEOPLE should put aside all of our private affairs and go to Washington and see that the Constitution is followed. Period.

Now about that statement.It is against the law in Hawaii to reveal what is in a persons BC. It would have be ok for her to say they have his original Hawaiian birth certificate on record, because that would not be revealing anything in the record ( an original Hawaiian birth certificate is the record itself.) It is telling that she didn't say that. If she had mentioned anything else, it would have been violating the law by revealing the contents of his record ( a foreign BC is submitted as part of the record when applying for a Certificate of Birth ). Saying that his original birth certificate was a Kenyan BC, that would be breaking the law by revealing part of his record.
Just show it. . .and end of 'conspiracy theories' fueled by the resistance and refusals to do just that on behalf of Obama. . .his Legal team, et al.
Why has he even bothered to muck up our Justice system with this 'non-issue'; when it can otherwise be rendered null and void; by the wave of this piece of paper. . .

1.) Why are there NO hospitals or clinics in Hawaii that are willing to confirm that Comrade 0bama was born in their illustrious facilities in 1961?
2.) Why has 0bama spent six-figure sums and hired three law firms to conceal and suppress the details of his birth?
3.) Why has 0bama also sought to conceal the details of his school and medical records?
4.) What have 0bama family members stated that he was actually born in Kenya?
5.) Why did incoming Commerce Secretary Bill Richardson state that ‘0bama is an immigrant’ during the primary season?
