Barack Obama never renounced his U.S. citizenship. Also, as he was a minor when he moved to Indonesia, neither he nor his parents could have renounced it. Period. As far as U.S. law is concerned, Barack Obama never lost his U.S. citizenship even as he gained Indonesian citizenship. Indonesia’s laws on the matter simply don’t apply in this country.
And so while multiple lawsuits challenging his eligibility still have appeals left to be exhausted, the simple fact of the matter is that there is no credible evidence that Barack Obama is anything other than a U.S. citizen “natural born” in a Hawaiian hospital in 1961. As a result, none of the cases submitted to the U.S. Supreme Court is likely to be heard.
But will the quashing of the various legal challenges be enough to satisfy those that have bought into these unsupported theories?
If past conspiracy theories can be a guide, then “no.”

Any record that amendments had been submitted and information changed is not shown on the “Certification of Live Birth,” which is laser printed on special green stock paper, and lacks detailed information that would be expected from a true “Certificate of Hawaiian Birth,” or “Certificate of Delayed Birth.”

My BC states that it is an exact replica of the original which is on file. There is much more info on it than 0’s apparently faked one; my parent’s names, address, occupations & for how long; mother’s maiden name, doctor’s signature, name of hospital, parents’ races & states where they were from, their ages; eyedrops given (silver nitrate?) Now this is a lot of info! compared to ZERO’s certif. I was born in CA, ‘37. Maybe Hawaii did it differently.
Yes, but if you request a birth certificate from the state you were born in —even if you were born in 1961, you will receive a birth certificate very similar to the certificate produced by BO. It is just as valid as the original.

All certified copies of birth certificates are similar to BOs. If you requested your birth certificate from California, you would receive something very similar to the COLB that BO posted. They can be used for everything the other, long form birth certificates are used for.

Even if what you say was true (and its been pointed out there is a lot more to it than that), it doesn’t explain why DailyKos issued the COLB. What does DailyKos have to do with it? It also doesn’t explain why, if Obama was trying to show legal proof of his birth the serial numbers were blacked out. That legally invalidates the COLB, so what was the purpose of doing so?
A man named Calero, a citizen of Nicaragua & member of the Communist Party, has run for President also--here in the US. Isn't it strange to say the least that none of the officials in those states questioned this?
