Even if what you say was true (and its been pointed out there is a lot more to it than that), it doesn’t explain why DailyKos issued the COLB. What does DailyKos have to do with it? It also doesn’t explain why, if Obama was trying to show legal proof of his birth the serial numbers were blacked out. That legally invalidates the COLB, so what was the purpose of doing so?
I don’t think that Daily Kos issued the COLB, I think they received a digital copy from the campaign. I think they blacked out the serial numbers because they were told that someone could use them to access other files. The later copies of the BC didn’t have the serial number blacked out. I doesn’t invalidate the COLB because a digital copy isn’t valid anyway. The actual document that was scanned, wasn’t altered in any way. Only the digital copy was blacked out.
