WASHINGTON – Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid defended himself Wednesday over a joking comment that tourists to the Capitol sometimes smell.
Turns out many people weren't amused.

Reminds me of a ride in a big ski trolley up to the Alps when I was a kid. The Germans were all hanging on to the overhead straps. The smell was, well.........I’ll leave it to your imagination.
