From reading the transcripts this guy was knee deep in all that was going on. He was making a lot of the contacts and talking to Blago about how he should “sell” the Senate position.
He is probably working out a plea deal right now. Didn’t want to continue to work for Blago and turn into a stool pigeon at the same time. Rats deserting a sinking ship.
