Be sure to read Tapper’s post, as he has plenty more on The One’s long history as a friend of — and advisor to — Blago. Axelrod himself begged off Blagojevich’s first gubernatorial campaign because “I was concerned about whether he was ready for … governing.” Not so Obama and Emanuel; they both served as advisors, and they and Blago went on endorsing each other to the bitter end.

Update: Awesome. Let’s just drag this out as long as possible. Either we get the spectacle of the Illinois legislature impeaching him or we get the spectacle of Blago appointing The One’s successor while in jail. And based on the charges, he’s just stupid/nutty enough to do it.
“He didn’t do anything wrong,” attorney Sheldon Sorosky told reporters after Blagojevich was arraigned. “A lot of this is just politics.” Blagojevich should be in the office Wednesday, Sorosky added.
So, reporters asked, he does not intend to resign? “Not that I know of, no,” said Sorosky, who added that the governor was “surprised” by the day’s events.
They may have met where their children attend the same school, eh?
Another way to fleece Illinois taxpayers to pay for giant political billboards that span eight lanes of traffic with "Blagojevich" written in illuminated/reflecting letters (reminds me of Saddam's sweeping monumentrs toi himself!). Now, the taxpayers will have to pay millions to take 'em down.
This is SOOOO serious....and.....the "birth certificate" thing isn't going anywhere. It just gives the msm an issue to try to make us look petty or nutty....

Me: Ummmmm Hot Air. Why even submit it for conference in the first place? Why not just deny Wrotnowski case, who had Donofrio co-authored it? How about this Morrissey. The Wrotnowski case is better written and does not have the same baggage that Donfrio case had. They chose the best of the two.

EZ Pass is a toll collection system used by many states, mostly in the Northeast.

Ok, now things have moved beyond the “Obama didn’t mean it that way” explanation, as team Obama has now explained that it was Axelrod that “misspoke”.
It was just reported that the only way this wiretapping is permissable in court and legal is with a Presidential Approval. So Bush is well aware of this and did his job.
