Then you start thinking about 20,000 troops recently being deployed to Northern Command to quell riots and civil disorder, and one might ask - WTF is going on? I'm not aware of this - more info please?

Supposedly he’s been singing like a canary for a while. The rumor is they postponed his sentencing so he could talk more.

What is that for Illinois? Five governors in a row gone to jail?
No!
Jim Edgar (predecessor to George Ryan) did NOT go to jail. Please, check it out.
To: sausageseller
Two Democrats and Two Republicans have been indicted. The Dems are Kerner & Walker, the Republicans are Stratton and Ryan. Ryan's an ultra RINO though, so it might as well have been a Dem that was indicted.
Our current Governor, Rod, is a Chicago machine RAT, so if gets indicted that will break the tie and make 3 Dems - 2 GOP to have been indicted. Right now, 4 out of the last 8 governors have been indicted. If Rod gets indicted as well, that will break 50-50 deadlock so 5 out of last 9 Governors -- a clear majority -- will have been indicted.

Daley and Obama have got to be soiling their underwear right now. I wonder how fast this bakelite-haired fraud will be willing to rat out his buddies to get a deal.Doesn't this have something to do with Merry Fitzmas?

RE Roma: About 2 years ago, there was story about aa long-term resident (illigal) immigrant losing 6 of her children in a house fire. They had to use candles because the electricity was turned off.
Roma was aghast that someone in the government hadn’t told her to abort some of those kids! Despicable hag.

OMG did you hear what he just read? I didn’t hear the whole thing, but they wanted $10-15 MILLION for O’s senate seat.

When I saw the headline this morning, I presumed it was in relation to that union sit-in crap. You know, protestors arrested as a matter of procedure. I’m pleased to note it’s more than that.
Thanks for the link for WLS — listening for a bit while I can.
per WLS:
Arrested by FBI and in custody along with his chief of staff. Attempted to sell Obama senate seat!

This is indeed a good day in the state of Illinois!! :)
I bet I won’t get the coverage here. I need to turn on my local news and see if they’re covering it.
