Supreme Court to Uphold or Ignore the Constitution?
Capitol Hill ^ | Dec. 7, 2008 | JB Williams

Posted on 12/07/2008 11:14:58 AM PST by PlainOleAmerican

As of this writing, December 6th, the Supreme Court has not yet announced whether or not it will take up the Donofrio case, or any other case concerning Obama’s constitutional eligibility for the office of President.

Yet there is no more important issue before the court today and the clock is ticking.

(snip)

The Supreme Court of the United States of America has but one primary obligation to the American people, and that obligation is to use the power afforded it under Article III—Section I of the Constitution, to uphold, protect and preserve the U.S. Constitution, the Charters of Freedom, and provide equal justice for all, without regard to personal political leanings or ambitions…

Yes, let's have Talk Radio do all the heavy lifting, that
way we won't have to hold a sign at the steps of the
Supremes,, we can just rant on the keyboard. Jeesch!

I'll keep warm under my tinfoil a little longer, as I'm
thinking that the ‘talkers’ have talked among themselves
and may be afraid of being sand-bagged for the Fairness
Doctrine roll out - that is, IF The Messiah pulls out a
legit birth certificate. Think of the grin on his face,
or the egg on Rush's face.

Then I say let the riots begin.

The way I see it is they will face riots if they do and revolution if they don’t.

People are tired of being ignored and having their money stolen by congress to buy power.

A person who accepts that the American people did not elect my guy. I campaigned for McCain. I wonder how many of you who didn’t lift a finger to help McCain are all involved in this. I didn’t like McCain but still worked on the campaign. I was very disappointed but have accepted the decision of the American people. Better luck next time!

Oh dear, you truly are ignorant.

Obama didn’t provide anything. His campaign staff forged an electronic copy of a document that isn’t even relevant. Read up on hawaii and their peculiar system of “birth certificates” and “certifications of birth”.

And just how do we know for SURE that Obama is NOT a natural born citizen?

As others have pointed out to you, it is Obama's responsibility to prove his qualification. Here's why:

The 20th Amendment says, "if the President elect shall have failed to qualify". See, the burden is placed on the President elect to qualify, not on others to disqualify him/her.

Also, as has been pointed out many times in the past few weeks, he will not be President elect until Dec 15th after the Electoral College votes. I'm thinking the USSC cannot require him to prove his qualifications until he is President elect.

Stop with the left-wing “tin-foil” efforts to silence truth.

You tip your hand when you use DU terminology to attack those simply seeking truth and constitutional government.

Your stock just dropped through the floor.

See this is what I mean about acting like an American. You don’t riot because you guy lost period. If you do, you will be locked up and probably lose your right to vote-not helpful.

Tin foil is a word used by those who do not believe in aliens from other planets and most conspiracy theories about those who do-hardly leftwing. I campaigned for McCain. Did you?

But watch what they do over a constitutional crisis that will seat a foreign enemy of the state in the Oval Office...

How sad is it that you're so right.

I certainly did not tell you not to post what you posted, and if you took my comments that way, I am truly sorry. I did not mean to imply that at all.

My comment was my opinion on news articles about Obama that seem to talk about things like bands playing at events, whether he might smoke in the White House, what he uses in the gym, and on and on without any mention of what is going on in the Courts.

1. Nobody has posted any proof that Obama was an Indonesian citizen, only suppositions.

2. Whether Indonesia allows dual citizenship is irrelevant to whether the US does. Indonesia can have whatever policies it chooses. It does not affect our policies.

3. He lived in Indonesia only from the age of 6 to 10. It is just not possible for a minor or his parents to renounce American citizenship for a child.

4. If he indeed had an Indonesian passport, perhaps because he wanted to travel to a country where his American passport would be an issue, that would be odd but again not disqualifying him as an American citizen. One Freeper posted that he has passports for five countries. He’s still an American citizen.

How about giving an example of birth certificate “Bad things” you can think of. Like ,perhaps his mother was ashamed (back in that day) that she did not know who to name as the father?

The document means everything it says, or it means nothing it says.

Wonder what they’d do with 56 million Americans who refuse to follow the 16th Amendment on the basis that the SCOTUS won’t even enforce Article II - Section I...?

You do realize that almost ALL taxpayers are in the 56 million who voted against Obama, yes? Non-taxpayers are Socialist Democrats.

You are not seeking truth or interested in the constitution. You wish to overturn an election result period and as such are no better than Democrats in 2000 who sought to overturn Pres. Bush’s election.

Mccain is useless trash not worthy of my vote. Although he got it anyway. That’s the sad state of american politics today. Why would I campaign for someone I don’t think is even worthy of my vote?

Why did you campaign for him?

I vote for IGNORE.

They’ve been doing it for DECADES and fewer and fewer folks seem to notice.

Tune into Leno’s “Man on the Street” segment some night to understand why.

We’re surrounded by IDIOTS!
