I voted to cut her some slack. The poor woman would be unemployable in the private sector. I consider it the governments responsibility to hire and retain people like her :-)
Yes, the laws are for the “important” people too; not just the “little” people.
Disgusting how half the people seem to think that law breaking by any person charged with the responsibility of enforcing the law is somehow acceptable.
I voted yes....if 25 years is what border agents who do their jobs get, then 10 years is nothing for a corrupt agent
US Attorney Michael J. Sullivan
My hero of late.
By all rights most officials in government, state and federal, republican and democrat, who took an oath to protect and defend the constitution should be in prison based on how they have ignored that oath.
We should deport her for breaking the laws she is supposed to be enforcing. She wants the perks and the goodies but not the responsibility.
“Do you think Lorraine Henderson should be facing as much as 10 years in prison and a $250,000 fine for allegedly hiring a woman to clean her house who is in this country illegally?”
Respondents were 4 or 5 to 1 in the affirmative when I voted.
The question could be framed:
“Should employers face hefty fines and prison sentences for employing illegals?
Yet, in many towns and counties across the nation, policiticans are giving them a pass. And, Dems/panderers want open borders.
Do you think Lorraine Henderson should be facing as much as 10 years in prison and a $250,000 fine for allegedly hiring a woman to clean her house who is in this country illegally?
Yes. As the head of border protection for New England she should be held accountable to the highest standards on this matter.

No. This is outrageous. The time simply doesn’t match the crime in this case.

Background:
It all comes down to the wire in Boston - Homeland Stupidity
Boston Herald
" .... How corrupt has Boston become when we now
have illegal alien maids from Brazil wearing wires
against six-figure federal immigration officials?
Come on down, Lorraine Henderson, age 51, Boston area port director
for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Customs and Border Protection.
Shes only been here in Boston since December 2003
but its safe to say shes gone native.
Gone native - thats another way of saying she was arrested
yesterday and charged with harboring an illegal alien.
Beautiful, huh? She supervised 220 law-enforcement personnel,
she carried both a gun and a badge, she drove a white Ford Explorer SUV
with Customs and Border Protection stenciled on the side.
And now it turns out she was paying an illegal alien, in cash,
to clean her condo in Salem.
... Lorraine didnt care that she was breaking the law, any more than Zip Connolly did.
She responded to her employee that the illegal - IA1,
as the Brazilian is referred to in politically incorrect terms in the affidavit
- was very attractive, trustworthy and thorough.
And so another one bites the dust. Another day, another arraignment.
City, county, state . . . and now federal.
Please, try not to let it destroy your faith in the Public Sector."
233 votes total. Tells me that 40 illegal aliens, or liberal sypathetic pukers don’t see a problem here. Fortunately they were only 16.3 percent of the vote!
I know this has become the accepted thing to do, but it is another thing that begs the question, “What is this nation turning into?” It’s shameful how many U.S. Citizens have decided that our laws are no longer to be respected or adhered to.
LOL, and these days the government seems to be doing it’s job very well, in this aspect of course.
Government downsizing. The oxymoron of the 21st century.
