There’s no doubt in my mind that the new administration will turn its back on Israel at some point. By the time people wake up to that fact, it will be too late.

IDF is the only army in the world which curbed terrorism: from near-war levels in 2000-2003 to near-absence today.

I think Iraq pretty well qualifies. The Brits in Malaysia and N. Ireland and the Filipinos, for that matter. Even the Euros beat the Red Brigades. Massive terrorism was destroyed in numerous S. American countries and is presently on its last legs in Colombia.

This notion that terrorism cannot be beaten is just not proven by the facts. That said, putting NATO in is perhaps the most idiotic idea for dealing with the ME ever presented. It presumes that all the two sides need is to be separated. In fact, one side is determined to destroy the other, which only wants to be left alone.

Terrorism would promptly be turned on the NATO "ocupiers," quite possibly in their home countries as well as in Palestine.

There’s a lot of these resume building, worthless “generals” around, usually backstabbers, ticket puncher (those that served know of what I speak) types. They just show up to get credit then it’s “been there, done that” and on to the next ribbon.

A kid that we know made his way through OCS got his butter bar, then 1st LT, showed up in Iraq for three months comes home with a BRONZE STAR. I was outraged and started writing officers and NCOs I know requesting the citation behind that decoration. Confirmed that he didn’t do a DAMNED thing to earn such an award, I was advised that it happens all too often with these little perfumed princes. John Kerry comes to mind—and others.

I could live with it better if they weren’t so dangerous, everyone treating them like they actually did something.

So, everyone who doesn’t support Israel’s interests over ours is the spawn of Mohammad.

Nice.

US peacekeepers didn’t work out in Lebanon under Reagan, either. They are targets, and their hands are tied.

Several of these so called retired generals seem to me to be anti-American left wing idiots. As they seem to support the terrorist enemies of the American people. I am glad than I never had to serve with any of them. And I wonder if any of them served in combat and if so if they were in command? And if in command how many of their troops were lost because of their being an idiot?

It is totally naive to believe that this is ignorance and not a shift in policy. Crisis is opportunity (Rahm Emanuel - 2008). Had Bush followed the Obama crisis model after 911, we would no longer have a congress or a Constitution. The new administration is about power and central control.

To achieve that, you have to scare the sheep into cooperation. Watch for a new crisis every time they want more of your freedom.

US will promise to nuke Iran if it nukes Israel.

That will never happen.

From: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/James_L._Jones

"In January 1967, Jones was commissioned a second lieutenant in the U.S. Marine Corps. Upon completion of The Basic School at Marine Corps Base Quantico, Virginia, in October 1967, he was ordered to the Republic of Vietnam, where he served as a platoon and company commander with Golf Company, 2nd Battalion, 3rd Marines. While overseas, he was promoted to first lieutenant in June 1968.

Returning to the United States in December 1968, Jones was assigned to Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, California, where he served as a company commander until May 1970."

June, 1968, to December, 1968?

Enlightening post about how Israel keeps terrorist Muslims at bay. It’s hard work.

Not empty promises to nuke Iran if they hit Israel. No one can depend on such drek after Obama takes us out of Iraq prematurely

From the article:

“US troops, the best of NATO’s, cannot curb terrorism in Iraq despite massive presence on the ground and serious collaboration by the Iraqis. Whatever calm was there for a few months is mostly attributable to Sadr’s decision to calm down to allow the US an honorary withdrawal.”

Huh author sounds just like Obama.
