According to Gary Kreep, executive director of the United States Justice Foundation, the clerks have been advised about the “irregularity” in the list of electors provided by the Democratic Partyin California.
“In the 28th Congressional District (Congressman Howard Berman), situated in Los Angeles County, Ilene Huber is listed as the presidential elector designated in that district.
However, as shown in the attached certified statement of Dean C. Logan, registrar-recorder/county clerk of the county of Los Angeles, state of California, there is no Ilene Huber listed as a registered voter in the County of Los Angeles.
A statewide search of public records has revealed only one Ilene Huber in the state of California, and she is deceased-a copy of her certificate of death is attached hereto as well,” the advisory said.
“Further, according to Chris Myers, director of research for the California Democratic Party, who submitted the list of presidential electors for the Democratic Party to the office of the California secretary of state
, there are additional, undisclosed, ‘errors’ in the list of electors.
This admission was made in a telephone conversation with a representative of the American Independent Party on or about November 20, 2008,” the letter continued.

If Davis were the father, then Obama would be natural born and eligible to be POTUS. Of course, there’d be allegations of fraud and forgery & all that, but he would be president.

Specifically this comment was in reference to Donofrio’s claim about both parent’s being citizens with no ‘dual loyalty’ and Donofrio’s assumption Obambi was born in Hawaii. Congress has already made law that states only one parent need be a citizen, not both. I can’t find any existing law that states both parents must be citizens for one to be considered ‘natural born citizen’ if that person is born in the US.
There is no “hearing” — all that is happening today is whether to grant a writ of certoriari — i.e., a decision to let the case proceed. It is my understanding that certoriari was not granted (someone said only two cases were granted) so the case is dead.

Yeah, I heard about the dead electoral voter (democrat) in California. Doesn’t surprise me since many counties cast 125% of their population. Many of these people had been dead for years!
Background: when the Supreme Court grants cert. (i.e., decides that they will hear a case), they release that order immediately, because the parties to the case need to start working on their briefs. If the Court denies cert. (decides that they will not hear the case), those orders are not released until the following Monday (because there are so many of them and the clerk's office needs time to put together the full list).
Today's order list grants cert. in two cases, neither one of them an Obama eligibility case. We won't know for sure until the Monday order list comes out it the cases were denied (it's possible they postponed consideration to a later conference, though I think that's unlikely), or if anyone dissented from the denial, but if I had to bet, I would say that the Court will simply decline to hear these cases without any comment.
Then Bambi would simply state he was the victim of this, not the perpetrator.

Oh, I don’t agree with the comment.
I was pointing out the ridiculousness of his statement and the fact that a lot of people believe 0bama is eligible because he was voted in.
The very fact so many people believe it ruined my day.
That is not Defronio’s rationale. The mother’s American citizenship “does not mitigate” the father’s status as British subject and citizen, regardless of birthplace. One possible interpretation is that neither parent can have a loyalty to any other foreign nation, and that is what makes Obama not a citizen. You can see it’s a fine line, and that’s why it would be fascinating for the court to take up.

Would you splain that in English for one of the great unwashed....me? What does not granting “certiorari” mean?
If the EC electors elect Obama, and then between Dec 15 and Jan 20 Obama is ruled ineligible, THEN Biden would become Acting President on Jan 20. (20th Amendment)

My understanding is that if he were born in Hawaii the citizenship of his parents would be irrelevant. If you are born on US soil, you are a US citizen. He was adopted by his Indonesian stepfather and by that was given Indonesian citizenship. Supposedly if you become an Indonesian citizen, you must give up any other claim to citizenship. So where did that leave Barry? There is also the question of him not registering for the selective service when he was required to. On what passport did he travel to Pakistan in the 80s? Maybe he enjoys being a man of mystery.
