Punches were pulled during the campaign. Obama was the butt of only 58 jokes on five major late-night comedy shows - all of which are hosted by white men - in September, according to the latest figures compiled by the nonpartisan Center for Media and Culture. GOP vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin was the punch line 283 times, GOP presidential pick Sen. John McCain clocked in at 245, and even President Bush took 141 comedic blows.
"Most people in entertainment tend to be more liberal or more Democratic-leaning. So of course, all the blows will be landing on the right," said Brian Copeland, a Bay Area comedian who is shopping a television pilot of his popular stage show "Not a Genuine Black Man." "Bush has given us so many opportunities over the course of the last eight years, McCain ran a terrible campaign, and Sarah Palin was a walking punch line. So there really wasn't a lot that Obama gave comics to work with."

It’s because they woudl be called racists if they dared crack a joke about The One (piss be upon him).
“You’re not racist, are you?”
There’ll be no jokes allowed about the First Secretary of People’s Party!
There is nothing remotely funny about the s0B. Period.
Making fun of The One is sacrilige.
It isn’t hard to make fun of Obama. We get plenty of mileage out of him here on FR. This just goes to show you how lazy and unprofessional comedy writers are. I accidentally watched Letterman a couple weeks ago, and every single joke was still about Bush. Get with the times! Earn your keep! And please, please come up with more than the same two jokes you stuck to for the last two presidents (i.e. overactive libido and gross stupidity).
We endured years of caricatures of President Bush with big ears, even though he has small ears. Obama’s ears are many times larger, and stick out like a chimpanzee. So, where are all the monkey-ear caricatures of Obama? Not only does Obama look like one, but he may be as dumb as one.
I think Chimps may have it over Hussien
BO poses a serious problem for the entire nation, nothing funny about it.

Well for crap sakes..these blokes all voted for THE ONE,THE MOST MERCIFUL, THE MOST GRACIOUS, THE MOST 0... of course they won’t bad mouth him. Besides, if they did, Crazy Calypso Louie would send out the jackbooted thugs that gurard him to defend THE ONE.

Stupidity is reserved for Republicans....
Yep, I have to admit to thinking the same thing especially if there is a picture of him from the back...you don’t think...no don’t go there.....
Since his only qualification IS his skin color, the irony is beautiful.
And if anyone DARES make fun of der neuen Fuhrer, we know what will happen. his handlers will seek out and destroy any and all detractors.
Joe The Plumber is just a taste of how the new fuhrer will deal with dissension.
They could start with the fact that he was born in a restroom stall at Mombasa airport — that’s kind of amusing.

What it the title of the book he is holding? The Post American World?
Obama is the joke. And there is nothing funny about it.
