I hope it dispels the notion that the Serbs are responsible for villainy in the Balkans.

Someone still remembers the role The Serbs played resisting fascism.

"Ljubica Mandušic-Gazikalovic and her daughter Jelica built a special sanctury on their house property in the Serbian Kosovo town of Prizren where the entire family of Josef Levi lived from 1941 to 1943 in order to escape the Nazi pogroms."

Yeah, hoping and praying that the Albanian Nazis didn't turn them in. This is the region that also produced the WWII AlbanianSkenderbeg SS Division

My understanding is that the Cliff’s Notes version of WWII in the Balkans was Serbs good, Bosnians and Croats bad.

There is something more pernicious going on. Holocaust revisionists have a free rein when it comes to the Balkans. Croatian, Albanian and Bosnian Muslim sources (all former Nazis and party to The Holocaust) regularly tar Serbs as allegedly being the perpetrators of The Holocaust.

This is a an unprecedented case where Nazi revisionists have support of American Government.

United States Holocaust Memorial Museum (USHMM), a Federal funded institution was a hotbed of this Nazi revisionist propaganda.

USHMM was even so brazen to invite notorious Holocaust denier on it's formal opening ceremony

The revisionist in question, Franjo Tudjman, outdid David Irving and claimed that only 900 000 Jews were killed in WWII and that Jews run Croatian Nazi concentration camp Jasenovac.

Much of this garbage has found it's way to academia and will poison future generations.

Federally funded is why they had to follow the State Dept’s “advice” and invite him as the freely elected President of Croatia.

Well, in 1941 Croatia declared war against the United States:

After the December 11, 1941 declaration of war by the United States against Germany, the Independent State of Croatia declared war on the United States and the United Kingdom on December 14th./i>

Post-war, Croatia was reabsorbed into Yugoslavia, so that declaration of war was never actually withdrawn.

I was at the crowd that gathered in Washington DC in 1995 to protest the USA's bombing of the Serbs in Bosnia-Herzegovina. I recall the instructions were to gather on the west sidewalk of the Holocaust Museum (facing the grassy area south of the Washington Monument). Then we found out that the Museum had withdrawn permission to meet on the public (!) sidewalk when they found it was a bunch of Serbs and friends, so we met on the grass across the street. By amazing coincidence, there was a group of about 20 guys playing soccer at the same time about 500' away, but who suddenly needed to play right there, and kept kicking (accidentally, of course) the balls into the crowd for the next half hour, narrowly missing the Bishop one time while he was reading a prayer, as I recall.

Then after the prayer service, we walked up to the park on the north side of the White House, where we could see the snipers on several surrounding buildings, I guess protecting us from harm.

Ever since then, of course, I have always considered the Holocaust Museum a scheme to make people feel guilty about what they approve you feeling guilty about, and not really about historical accuracy as such.

Thank God Clinton bombed the hell out of these Serbians in favor of those wonderful Muslim Albanians. I’m sure those Muslims really love us now!

Actually...the Albanians of Kosovo really love the US... they really do. That doesn't mean they won't change their mind and turn on the US on a dime. They're madly in love with any country that helps them take over part of another country. That'll change. It always does.

In the mean time, Serbia is sitting right there letting others babysit the Albanian brats of Kosovo while the UN foots the bill. Good. Thanks. Another 20 or 50 years of the UN taking it's turn would be nice, but Serbia is pretty close to being able to handle things again if the time is sooner.

That declaration is null and void since the Republic of Croatia is the legal descendant of SR Croatia and not NDH.

The communists revised the numbers upwards. Only 530,000 Serbs died during WW2 across the whole of Yugo.

I have seen this on a great many sites. Part of the rewrite of history beganin earnest when Clinton aided and abetted the jihadists and bombed Belgrade for 78 straight days. An unholy alliance is trying to rewrite history..

The rewrite began when the communists exaggerated the numbers.
