Agree. The card check is a disaster for our economy. It is the worst that can happen to us is to have socialist unions sucking the blood out of our businesses.

On a personal note, I want to publicly apologize to you when I called you a troll weeks ago. I noticed that your posts now prove that you are a conservative and one of us.

Unfortunately you were right. I wanted to remain optimistic and encourage other folks to remain optimistic so our side can go and out and vote rather than being demoralized and stay home. Sadly we lost and millions on our side did not show up to vote. Very disappointing indeed. However life goes on. We will work very hard on winning in 2010 and 2012.

The silver lining is that we can focus on rebuiding the grassroots and the party from a state and county level from now until 2012.

Hopefully we can identify the good conservatives running in 2010 and make good gains in congress.

Sweet. All I wanted this year was gridlock. Does this clinch it?

If so, is it safe to hope Franken steals the MN seat? Just for entertainment purposes?

C’mon, Franken is funny. That guy in Minnesota would be no great loss. And it would set the lowbrow “conservative” hive (not mentioning any names) off as if Rosie O’Donnell had been elected.

That’s a recipe for 6 years of fun!

Chmabliss is a damn sellout punk, but we need him there. Maybe he wont be so ready to send American jobs to India hand over fist or expand H1-B Visa’s for hundreds of thousands of foreigners like he was trying to do before.

What I can't understand is how Chambliss garnered a much larger majority (57%) in the runoff than in the general election (50%). We're traditionally Democratic blacks a smaller proportion of the runoff electorate due to less interest in an election in which a black man, Barack Obama, was heading the Democratic ticket? Or maybe disgust over the disastrous bailouts being supported (mostly) by Democrats in Washington is already swinging parts of the electorate against the Democrats?

Any ideas?

I think a lot of Republicans who wanted to teach Bush a lesson by either staying home on 11/4 or voting Obama have experienced a huge dose of buyer’s remorse.

This is the first step toward their making restitution. Let’s hope their mea culpas continue in 2010.

If Republicans had both come out in force and also voted McCain instead of many voting Obama, McCain might actually have won.

Uhh no...this isn’t anywhere close to gridlock. We would need at least 45 seats for gridlock because of all the RINOs.

It’s the first shot in the mid term elections. From the point a party thinks it is the deal, the other side starts to win. There was no way Martin could win other than through vote fraud. Georgia is still one of ours.

LOL!!! You must have been listening in, when I got a robo-survey about Saxby the other night. Every time I was prompted to answer, Yes - No - or Undecided, I would say, “ACT CONSERVATIVE!”.

Hee :)
