Good point. Maybe a lot of “buyer’s remorse” now, too.

That is awesome - Thank God - There is hope for the future.

Interesting, but McCain didn’t really get 70% of the vote in Georgia against Obama. He won by a 52% to 47% margin, if my information is correct.

That is exactly it; in the general election, the record turnout to cast a vote for the long-awaited messiah resulted in a lot of straight-ticket Democratic votes for Martin. But they only came and stood in line to vote for Obama.
In the runoff, there was just some white guy running against some other white guy. They didn't come. We did.

Now, just a thought, based upon these results, perhaps it might be better to separate the Presidential election from all others?
Seems to me that most dolts turn out to vote for the American Idol presidential election, maybe due to the media hype, however only those concerned about their actual representation, turn out to vote for those folks that they actually want.

Many people who turned out for Obama were unwilling to do the same for an old white dude. Not smart enough to realize that Obie is not a king and needs help to get his evil deeds done.

Dang, if that ole Sarah Palin had not campaigned for him, he would have had it won by 2 p.m. this afternoon. Is that meant to be sarcasm or do you somehow feel Palin hurt Chambliss? I think Palin is the future of the Republican Party, especially now that she isn't tethered to a RINO.

Frankens toast in Minnesota, Chambliss takes Georgia, Hillarys out of the Senate (whatever her effective date is), Obamas out of the Senate...Pass me some of whatever you're smoking if you really think Obama and Hillary from Illinois and New York aren't going to be replaced with political clones.

When you take out the black vote...you know, the folks who went in the booth only to vote for BO...it was Chambliss in a landslide. This result should not come as a shock to anyone.

If not for Palin, McCain would have lost in a landslide. Now Governor Palin can go home to Alaska and be the Mom and the Governor she really is. Just do your job in AK, Sarah. We will be here waiting. And thank you, Alaska for giving us someone the lower 48 can believe in.
