Keep an eye on Chatham. If it goes red then we know the AA voters are staying home.

Yep. No doubt, no possibility for recount.
Filibuster is still alive, and notch one up for Sarah and her future.

I am with you! A huge sigh of relief going up tonight! Chambliss has been a big voice for the Air Force depots and no way did we want to lose him.

Rove has estimated that almost 5 millions Republicans stayed home on November 4th 2008 and many of them are from battleground states where if they had showed up we could have won the election and of course that is not considering the Republicans who voted for Obama
If only Ron Paul had been at the top of the ticket.

Congratulations to Sarah.
And screw the rest of the party that tried to tie Maverick’s defeat on her instead of their RINO led policies.

I checked the commies at Daily Kos and they are saying that it was wise for Obama to stay out of this Senate Georgia race knowing that Martin has little chance. They are now praising the cowardice of Obama as wisdom by not supporting one of his party Senate candidates because he is not sure of the final results. This further proves that when the going gets tough Obama cannot handle it. If he could not handle the going gets tough in Georgia Senate race how is he doing to handle it when the going gets tough in the war.

Thanks for keeping us posted Jeff. Big win for Saxby but an even bigger one for Sarah IMO.
He owes her...I hope he remembers it and I think he will. He's been gushing about her for 2 days in quotes I've seen.

What sorta race is that? Another Larry McDonald I hope. Could you give a synopsis of that race and what is at stake?

I hope he thanks her, because I really believe the race would have been much closer if Sarah had not come to campaign for him

Public service commission. We also had a run-off vote for that, and the court of appeals.

So sad, dimocrats.
Watch the Republicans take more seats in 2010. I believe buyer’s remorse over Obama is already setting in.

Agreed. This past few months have been quite educational, realizing just how lax we citizens have been, in keeping in touch with our representatives, and how they respond when we do, laughs. It really is a wonderful thing, that in a nation of our size, a small group of determined FReecitizens can connect with, support, and inspire the McCotters, Kingstons, Pences, and the like, that there really ARE Americans left out here.
Thank you again,
Tatt

Amen and spot on to all you said. She just shows she has a huge sway with the electorate...and she brought it in where it counted far, far from her home.

I am so happy that Sarah went into GA the last few days — this is the beginning of the turnaround IMHO. This email just came in from http://www.OurCountryDeservesBetter.com
BREAKING NEWS ISSUED 9:15pm Eastern/6:15pm Pacific...
The Our Country Deserves Better Committtee is pleased to announce that Republican Saxby Chambliss has won the runoff election in Georgia!!
Thank you to all of you who made a financial contribution to our efforts to support Senator Chambliss, as well as Gov. Sarah Palin who came in to help Chambliss get a final boost of momentum before voters headed to the polls.
This is the first victory in our march towards retaking Congress from the far Left in the 2010 elections.
Congratulations to all of you, and again thank you.
