So, Opie is now a political scientist?
He should shut up and direct.

Opey was doing YouTube Obama ads at the end. His stupidity is well-documented.

"It's just as Ron says. We've been, back in the past eight years, through this anguish about an imperial presidency," he said. Opie's friends ain't seen nothin' yet. Of course, Zero's kind of imperialism will suit them just fine.

“I think to compare what Nixon did, and the abuses of power for pure political self preservation, to George W. Bush trying to protect this country even if you disagree with rendition or waterboarding it seems to me is both a gross misreading of history both then and now,” Mr. Wallace said.

It's basically: "I don't like your politics, so this is an imperial presidency, and you're as bad as Nixon."
Which seems about as valid as just blindly calling all your enemies "Adolf Hitler".
To: Postman
Mr. Dallek followed Mr. Howard’s comments: “It’s just as Ron says. We’ve been, back in the past eight years, through this anguish about an imperial presidency...”

Of course when the Clintons were lying under oath (does anyone believe that Hillary “didn’t remember” so many things) and paying others to lie under oath (Monica Lewinsky was rewardedd with a job above her pay grade), Dopey Opie Ron Howard didn’t mind.
The Lewinsky scandal showed the pattern of abuse throughout the Clinton administration. And even after they left office it didn’t end. Sydney Berger stole and destroyed documents from the National Archives.

Thank you Chris Wallace, for having the courage to defend President Bush!
To: Ann Archy
Mr. Wallace has always had his spine. We just haven’t seen it because he rarely injects his opinion into his work. He is a reporter, not a pundit.

Some of these people are in such a cocoon of self-absorption and hatred of all things Republican and/or conservative that they often just sputter, speechless, when they are challenged.
They have no idea how isolated they are.
I have tried never to be so. One must always know what the other side is thinking, and why, if only to know how to combat it!
