RINO’S are leaving it’s time to find a conservative. Hopefully McShame will have a conservative challenger and lose to.

Just out of curiosity, is he a RINO because of his immigration stance or is he a RINO on domestic spending/abortion/sucking up to democrats/etc.

LOL!

Too much good news in one night, Chambliss takes GA and Martinez leaving in Fl.

I can go to sleep happy tonight. It might be just crumbs but at least we’re not totally in the wilderness now with nothing to eat.

Tommy Franks is now working in OK. He has been rumored to run for Gov or Senator from OK if Dr. Coburn decides not to seek reelection.

The Republican Party in FL gave Harris absolutely no support. So we continue to have the airhead Senator Bill Nelson, DemoSocialist, and most likely a DemoSocialist will replace Martinez. The Republican names I’ve seen are all sure losers, such as Bill McCollum, former US Representative and now Atty Gen of FL. He has all the charisma of a mouse in the wall.

There are candidates who get massive party support and still do not get elected, even in competitive races and their are candidates who get no support and do get elected in seemingly impossible races. Party support was maybe one of several reasons Harris did not get elected.

exactly, do not forget the ballot questions going right. I really do believe the massive voter fraud, and illegals robbed the republicans of Fl

The RINO led GOP robbed the Republicans of Florida.

Only reason Martinez is not running again is because there is no office for Vice-Senator. So he can't pick someone to attract conservatives.

And as for any thought of Adam Putnam running, I sent him an email telling him that his, McCain's and Bush's support for the bailout bill was going to lose not only the presidency but a lot more seats in both houses as well.

Putnam's reply was a long winded blather that could have been written by the DNC.

Putnam was the ONLY (R) I did not vote for. I didn't vote for his opponent either I just left it blank.

Wow, Jeb Bush reprising as Florida governor! Isn’t he the same guy who never got a handle on DYFS and child abuse. And isn’t he the same guy who presided over a a broken Florida education system? And, isn’t he the same guy who almost cost “W” his first term because he did not see the demrat voter fraud machine coming? Yes siree, Ol’ Jeb really makes my heart go pitter patter.

Jeb Bush is a RINO—just like “W” turned out to be. Reelecting him Florida governor does not advance conservatim.

Agreed. What is needed in Fl is a fresh conservative face. There has to be SOMEONE in the ranks! The more the RINOs control FL the more it is going to get worse during the recession. Unemployment is already mushrooming here and foreclosures are everywhere and no one can sell their house.

Let’s run Rush Limbaugh for Senator. That’s the ticket. Rush Limbaugh. He’s no RINO. LOL!

Same old same old doesn’t cut it for me either. You knew if McCain came into the office of POTUS, you’d have the same old same old career politicians that worked in the Ford administration. My guess is that’s why Palin wasn’t popular with the GOP bluebloods. She rocked the boat too much.

Look for Martinez to turn up in some other role soon. Career politicians never ever go away, especially CINOs.

good and he is my senator, someone like Mica should run

I too would love for John Mica to run. He would win against any Democrat...he is tough on illegal aliens and is not some nutty globalist (which will bring in otherwise Dem voters). He is a real conservative

I am happy as all get out with Martinez not running for re-election.

It was a monyth ago or so when I was saying on here that Martinez would not win re-election...nor win in the primary...

But, be on the look-out for illegal alien amnesty to be pushed on us again....and look for Sen “Illegal Alien” Mel Martinez to be on the fore-front of the issue

I would prefer John Mica or Bill McCollum to fill Martinez seat.

The others mentioned are all RINOs...Bush is like his brother, politically....Harris was pro-illegal until finally challenged on the issue....Putnam was the only GOP House member from FL to vote for the bailout...Crist is another pro-illegal RINO who is losing support every day
