You and me. I never really thought about dying in a revolution but if they attempt to confiscate my guns, then someone will die in the attempt. It may be me, it may be the goons, or both of us. But, I will NOT allow them to seize my guns without a fight.

I’m going to pretend I’m a gun-grabber for this, and that I am in favor of outlawing private sales. I don’t see how this will work. I live in iowa and I know that anyone with a carry permit, a law enforcement ID, or a military ID...can walk into any gunshop in the state and buy any handgun, shotgun, or semi auto rifle they want WITHOUT ANY BACKGROUND CHECK WHATSOEVER.
So tell me...HOW IN THE G*D* he11 are you going to stop all private sales without background checks? There are already gunshop sales up the wazzoo that don’t have any background checks! Are you going to stop all those too? Are you going to tell armyman A that he can’t sell his daddy’s old revolver to policeman B? Are you going to tell me(a carry permit holder) that I can’t walk into a gunshop and buy a cop’s old service sidearm sitting there on consignment without a background check...when I CAN AND WILL buy the brand spanking new one owned by the gunshop without a background check?
This law makes no practical sense whatsoever. Never mind that it’s unconstitutional.

Don't be silly. Your guns will be seized by fiat, not fight. By the time you realize what's going on it will be too late for you to do anything about it.

I agree. There is no GOOD reason for them to make it harder or impossible for the citizenry to obtain weapons NONE.
They take our right to bear arms then they have taken our freedom plain and simple. They can justify it any way they want but it is what it is....TYRANNY! They will be the criminals/traitors and we will be the patriots who will have to defend our country that so many of our ancestors bled for.

They can only confiscate the guns they know about. The feds know this as much as you do. The next mandate from them will be the requirement to register to purchase ammunition and reloading equipment and supplies. And more than likely you’ll have to account for every spent round.

First of all I am not a fanatic, but let me create a doomsday scenario. Americans can no longer own private firearms unless they belong to a state militia that is bought and paid for by Obama or one of his cohorts or the military itself. Firearms will be confiscated or they must be destroyed. Hunting will be forbidden. Americans will be defenseless. Now honestly, just think of one man David Axelrod, the mastermind of Obama: honestly do you think that under these conditions Obama and Axelrod would be so magnanimous as to permit dissent and allow anybody to crap all over Obama in speech or print? Or can you see a day where Obama sets up re-education or concentration camps for those who oppose him and thus dispose of these upstarts forever and throw away the key. I know this is frightening-you say never in America-but I ask you one last question: What’s to stop Obama and Axelrod from imposing their will on every American once they have taken away your guns? Their spirit of fair play; their belief in the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. If you believe this answer I have a sugar plantation to sell you in Cuba.
Not true. The previous AWB could be gotten around by not putting a flash hider and bayonet lug on the gun. This ban will include ANYTHING that looks scary to a gun grabber. You will not be able to buy an AR-15 no matter what you make it look like.

Not at a "decent restaurant" anyway. South carolina requires that we become "fish in a barrel" in establishments licensed to sell alcoholic beverages for on-premises consumption. (Never mind that the Federal Government mandates that a retired cop on vacation from another state is allowed to provide protection for himself and his family at Applebee's, etc.)
Maybe we could have our meeting at ... Dairy Queen?
