Hebert wants her to shut up or shut down. Do we need any more proof that we are inching ever closer to the Democrats' thought-police mentality?
If he cannot silence Sarah, he wants to redefine her as "incompetent," "dumb," "air-headed" and a "hillbilly."
Democrats have seen Sarah's story before, and it scares them to death.
They will stop at nothing to extinguish this threat in its infancy.
They know they lost the heart and soul of America when another governor, Ronald Reagan, burst upon the national scene and changed the course of history, crushing their liberal agenda.
Like Herod versus the baby Jesus, in their view Sarah is a threat justifying every, and all, countermeasures.
We now see Hebert and his fellow Herods will stop at nothing to destroy Sarah Palin.
Democrats used such tactics against Reagan.
He was stupid, they said. Dumb. Ignorant. A hick from Eureka College.
Fortunately for us, we didn't buy their thought-police control tactics. We listened.
And Reagan turned out to be the world's most influential politician in the last half century.
I say let freedom ring. Let Sarah speak and be heard.
Let us see what mettle this scrappy young woman is made of.
If she is weak, why fear her voice? If what she espouses is false, let it fail in the light of day.
Americans do not fear the truth. But, I must ask of Democrats: Is the truth what you fear?

Ok. Who is this Richard Hebert?
Interesting why they are still attacking her when she was on the losing team and some of her own party are blaming her. I do believe they see her as a serious threat. I thought she kept McCain in the hunt, she will be in the GOP future.
I thought he was referring to the columnist of the NY Times.
Real people, as a general rule, scare the sh!t out of the msm types because they they come from the real world. I think it’s high time to frontier justice all the msms, and while we’re at it, all of the corrupt pols and start over again.
The amount of rage expressed by someone of a Liberal persuasion, be it fake voting, lying, handout schemes, illegal contributions or ongoing hatred of Sarah is the intensity of which they do it is inversely directly corrolated to their fear.
They fear Sarah and know Obamanation is a fake Kenyan Marxist.
I would take care in comparing Palin to Reagan. Ronald Reagan was a very successful two term governor and spent six years running for President first against Ford and then defeating Carter. In that time he campaigned constantly, wrote brilliant editorials and radio addresses and collected thousands of IOUs from Republicans around the country
Palin is going to have to work for it.
Sarah is the real deal, and that’s why it scares the libs to death.
Let the MSM, the DNC, and the RIOs take their best shot. Sarah will come out of it the better, and more loved and respected, and positioned to help us take back ourr country as a result.
I concur, but the Left has convinced many intellectuals that Sarah isn’t the choice.
I think she is good, but no Reagan.
There are a heck of a lot of Republican’s afraid of Sarah also.
...and RINOs.
The most frustrating thing about this election was how the McCain team screwed up the introduction of Sarah Palin to the nation.
She is such a refreshing lovable dynamic personality, with great instincts about all issues.
But she was not a good fit for McCain simply because she is too independent ... and I fear she has been scarred politically by this whole ordeal.
Limbaughs' take on McCain the past 10 years (as an egotistical disruptor) was spot on.
Despite his great personal story in Vietnam, McCain should be shunned as a contributing factor in Republican circles.
Also along this line is that Greta Van Susteren keeps replaying the interview with Sarah, good stuff, so she’s getting some excellent face time on TV and is ALWAYS a pleasure to watch.
RULES gentlemen, RULES!
You hit the nail on the head. At Thanksgiving some of our Obama supporting relations asked my hubby and I what we thought of Sarah. We couldn’t even get a few supportive words out before they were all screaming at us, with their neck veins bulging. It is as if they couldn’t tolerate the truth, and couldn’t let others hear.
Well that could be. But I, fortuenately, have a limited knowlege of who is a columnist for the NYT.
There is something special about Sarah. There is a feeling of destiny around her. Like she was sent to us for a time such as these.
well you know she’s a threat
or the msm would not have attacked her as they did and are doing.
