Once again, a horrific atrocity has been committed by a group of determined Muslims willing and eager to die in the name of their faith. And, as usual, the Islamic groups have pulled out their standard boilerplate responses: Disclaimer #1: "These people don't represent True Islam." Disclaimer #2: "You must not blame all Muslims for the deeds of a few misguided" Disclaimer #3: "What they did was terrible, but they were provoked by the oppression and attacks on Muslims around the world, mostly by Israel and the West." Disclaimer #4: "We fear a terrible backlash from non-Muslims, and demand that you protect us from those would threaten us or say mean things or do things to insult us." It looks like we're somewhere between #2 and #3, but we can be quite certain that within a week or two they'll get around to the fourth point. It would make a fascinating study to compare two numbers: the number of people killed every year by Muslims for the offense of not being Muslim, and the number of Muslims killed every year by non-Muslims for the offense of being Muslim. And, maybe, a third number: the number of Muslims killed every year by other Muslims for the offense of not being good enough Muslims, or the wrong type of Muslim. My guess would be that the first number would be far, far greater than the second - and the third would dwarf the first two combined. Other religions have had their aggressive, expansionist phases but they grew out of that. Islam remains in its aggressive, conquering phase. It's been often noted that "Islam has bloody borders." One can only hope that it will grow and mature past it. And SOON - or that backlash they whine about might happen some day.

When the heinous acts of their religious brethren are not vehmently condemned, their “hear, see, do nothing brothers” become as one with the terrorists. Don’t tell me Islam is a religion of peace. They have shown no such behavior.

I just read “While Europe Slept”. Chilling.
A moderate muslim understands and sympathizes with the jihadists and is taught the same claptrap. The only difference is one took action and the other didn’t.

Are you talking about the attacks in India? I’m not sure because I have read many reports about them and never once saw the word “Islam” or “Muslim” used in describing the attackers (who themselves are portrayed as homegrown “militants” or “terrorists”).
#3 is the standard response by 95% of democrats including the chosen one. They usually replace the west with Bushitler/Cheny/Haliburton/Blackwater.
FTA “ one can only hope that islam will grow and mature past it soon”. Is the author of this article HIGH or just STUPID??? They have no intention of ever getting past the violent disposal of all non-muslims. That is part of their belief system. Those that are ignorant of this fact, are a danger to the rest of us. Our prez-elect imposter is one of THEM. He believes we can reason with muslim butchers of innocents. Until we hear millions of muslims publicly denounce the violence that many muslims commit againt humanity,,,,I will consider them all to be responsible for the continuing violence.

The Daily Mail (UK) was reporting that some were British Born, from the same area the 7/7 bombers came from.
You know if Christians used excuse no. 4, the oppression of christians in muslim states as an excuse to commit random horrors on muslims wherever they congregated, what would muslims think about that application of the golden rule?
But no reporter ever thinks to ask these muslim representatives such prickly questions.
“Mature past it”? How many thousands of years does it take to get to that point? I’m getting old and most likely don’t have a life time to wait for them to reform. I would like to believe that I and my grandchildren don’t have to worry about them. Nor should they have to. If they want to live the kind of life they do, let them stay in the middle east.

Each time a travesty like this occurs one waits to hear strong statements of condemnation by ALL muslims.
Those condemnations never arrive.
